本日は検診の為、昨日の20時から食事制限をしていた寛平さん。
無事検診も済ませて、やってきたのは西安名物「永明岐山面(ヨーメェンチーサンメン)」
寛平さん「美味いなぁ〜これは六本木で出したら流行るな〜」
と美味しそうにペロリと平らげました。
The kids, every AM, sleeping. Usually a kitten or two (or sometimes an adult cat, if the newly-adopted kittens aren't around) usually co-opts their warmth and in-sleep cuddles. Halle strokes Hamilton in her sleep.
８月１７日ＤＡＹ６０９ 午前５時３５分（日本時間午前８時３５分） 気温２２℃
本日は暑くもなく、寒くもなく、心地良い朝なんですが、
寛平さん及び同行スタッフ全員が寝不足です。
やはり、休養日にも関らず、中国入国の事務作業に追われ、
ゆっくりと休めなかった事が原因でしょう。
寛平さんも疲れを残したまま、本日もスタートしました。
そして本日はアルマティーの町を通るのですが、
アルマティーは観光都市ではないので、
みなさんに紹介する観光スポットがありません。
なので、最短距離を走り、アルマティーの町を抜けます。
とは言え、アルマティーはカザフスタン第２の都市（旧首都）、
少しは想い出を残して頂きたいと思っていたところに、
嬉しい嬉しいお出迎えが寛平さんを待っていました。

現在寛平さんが走っているのは、
西安から西に３００ｋｍほど離れた“平涼”です。
この平涼は、人口２００万人の街だそうで、
人も車も多く、寛平さんも走りづらそうです。
寛平さん「めっちゃ走りづらいは、、。」
ブーヤン「道は広いですけど、車とが多いですもんね。」
寛平さん「イヤ、６０年生きてて目にゴミが入ったの初めてなんや、、、。」
ブーヤン「そっち！！」
西安は、年間降雨量が６００ｍｌらしく
日本の３分の１程度しか雨が降らないそうで、
平涼は西安よりももっと降雨量が少ないらしいです。
乾燥しきった大地は、車が走るだけで小さな埃が舞い上がり、
寛平さんの小さな目に入って走りづらかったそうです。
