恵まれたことに私は来るたびに、この場所で毎晩雲海を見ることができました。
この日は初めで街明かりが見え、
山に挟まれた地にそれぞれの街があり、人々の営みがあるのだと、感動しました。
赤い月は街を覆う雲や、空の雲を赤く染め、
この景色を見ていたのは私だけでした。
Blessedly I could see the sea of clouds every night at this place as I came.
On this day the city lights were visible at the beginning,
I was impressed that there are different cities in the land sandwiched between the mountains and people's activities.
The red moon dyes the clouds covering the city and the sky clouds red,
I enjoyed a very beautiful time alone.

Surrounded by nothing but turquoise lagoon which melts into sapphire blue, the Maldives island of Anantara Kihavah and its pure white sands rise up out of the ocean like a mirage.
For centuries, this was where Arab traders sailing to the Far East took shelter; a lush paradise blessed by coconut, papaya and mango trees. Navigating archipelago to archipelago by the stars, the seafarers were also drawn by the riches of the ocean surrounding the island – where a prehistoric volcano sank back into the depths, leaving blooming corals within a house reef and a wealth of lagoon fish.
Wishing to keep the pristine nature of the island intact, not one tree has been moved – as evidenced by the villas growing up around them. The design pays homage to the seafarers of old, fusing Indian Ocean, Arab and Portuguese motifs with indigenous materials.

It's been a long time since I've seen an owl. I remember seeing one sitting on a fence when I was a kid and I was absolutely mesmerized. Mom told me not to get too close so I kept my distance. I've seen a couple since then but none that I was able to get a good look at (much less get a photo of!).
Now to present day, I discovered Muscatatuck last year after seeing some really cool nature shots from other flickr friends. Every time I saw someone post a snap of an owl I've been jealous. I've looked high and low and even researched owl spotting tips on google. No luck. Until last weekend.
It was my last trip around the auto tour. I was exhausted and had already spent several hours taking photos in the cold. That moment is when I spotted something out of the corner of my eye. I looked behind me and couldn't believe my eyes. This owl was sitting in a tree right next to the road. It wasn't even startled by me taking photos of it from the car. It just sat there, took a little glance at me, looked around a few times and then rested its eyes. And I snapped away. 📷

(I also spotted a screech owl on this trip as well, which I'll post at a later time! Two owls in one day. 😁 )

This week has been a challenge, I just found out that I will be losing my job in one week and I no longer have income to pay for housing. I also live with a severe chronic illness known as muscular dystrophy as well as several other conditions that all have one common goal which is to take away all quality of life that I have left. These illnesses are very aggressive and they do not let up. There is no denying that this is no easy circumstance; however, I consider myself to be very very blessed. I have been granted the greatest and most valuable gift of all: that is, a relationship with the LORD. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife, a supportive family, and the means to still be able to share the beauty of God's creation with you! Even in the midst of such challenging circumstances, I give thanks to God for what has been granted to me and I celebrate with great joy that I am loved by Him!
my thanks to you all, who are involved in capturing moments from your lives and sharing them to enrich me everyday. today i am richer than the richest because of your never-tiring approach of, "shoot to save".

I felt if he could speak to us or sing to us he would be singing " Oh what a beautiful morning " The beautiful male green crowned brilliant was on a nearby branch and I could not help but capture a few!! Such awesome beauty and Costa Rica has beauty at every turn . We will be heading back with Nature's Tapestry Photo Adventure Tours next November 2018 and April 2019 .
