In de avond nog een enkel straaltje zon door de wolken op het strand...wat was dit een geweldig licht-moment...wat een eer voor mij om op dit moment hier te staan...zooo onvergetelijk....
In the evening a single ray of sun through the clouds on the beach... this was such a great light moment... what an honor for me to be here at this moment... sooo unforgettable....

Reynisfjara is a black pebble beach and features an amazing cliff of regular basalt columns resembling a rocky step pyramid. It is also a home for many sea birds which I didn’t get a chance to see.
The waves at Reynisfjara are especially strong and unpredictable. They might look calm in this picture but when the waves hit the shore you wouldn’t even get a chance to react. A couple of tourists have died in accidents at this beach, so people are advised to take extra care when visiting the area.
