Embassy Chef challenge by Kenya Embassy - Washington DC

The Embassy entered the Embassy Chef Challenge for the first time along with other Embassies accredited in Washington DC. This was the first time for the Embassy to participate and though we did not win it was a good experience for the guests to sample the Kenya local foods and similarly to market Kenya as a tourist destination.

 

The HOC represented the Ambassador was accompanied by Jane Mugweh and Joy Gacuga. The Embassy had identified Linda Stewart a free lance Chef to cook and present the bitings for sampling by the guests.

 

The Embassy of Morocco won the Embassy Chef Challenge.
