I stayed a night in Melbourne last month (which is about 2hr from where I live) as a stop over on the way to Ocean Grove.

I had much more fun photographing the city than the beach side town, but it's not really surprising as I really love Melbourne; I somehow feel my senses are stronger and I feel faster and very alive there.

The scanner arrived last night. It took me a while to figure out scanning the film.

At first I was amazed at how ready it was to hang onto me while I put my flash bracket back together and got the batteries out of the charger in the kitchen. Upon seeing, through the camera, that it was actually sucking my blood the whole time, I was less surprised.
