So we got stupid wasted for my birthday last night lmfaoo Daddy crashed the car, sissy Lexis passed out on the side of car, Miss was the only sober one and had to drag Auntie DC to the steps but momma passed out on the steps and somehow lost her clothes and me well I tripped over a bush don't ask why?

The Police started the Parade with the sirens and a message board which read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". All family and friends followed in the drive-by parade. We had a blast.

My niece loved it. She will never forget her 8th birthday.

This little Red Truck sits in our t.v. room and each holiday and/or change of season, it brings along something appropriate for whatever needs to be celebrated.

This past week it also helped guard some birthday goodies, like a bunch of balloons, and some "Scavenger Hunt" clue cards for the Birthday Girl (not me) to follow in order to claim her "prize." I say "prize" because there was no gold at the end of that rainbow - it was more a case of "It's the journey not the destination" kind of Scavenger Hunt. LOL!

BaD 5/30

Minnie remembering when she and Mickey celebrated his birthday at Club 33. What a fun day that was with our sweet friend!

This is a REPOST from early February, 2010. This was originally a genuine Polaroid print. I added a framework as I edited the actual one years ago.

Sadly, our nearby Los Bravos is no more. A bunch of small businesses were turned out when a huge property was acquired by a developer. Unable to find rents anywhere near what they’d been paying before all this rampant β€œimprovement.”

So here am I, Donna, Margaritas and food at what was one of our favorite places. Oh!… that and a disembodied arm!

Another pretty house in Naples - it was a really fun night of seeing all the pretty lights in Naples!

I could totally live in this dollhouse but I could totally NOT afford it LOL :D

Jan 14

So dummy me didn't get pictures at the restaurant of our daughters birthday dinner - it was a day so maybe that's why I totally forgot.

It started with a second plumber coming out (the first one didn't do much but wanted to cut a hole in our wall to fix the problem - Nope no more holes at this point) so new guy Love him!!! Replaced all the awful corrugated pipes and cleaned out the clog that's been a problem on and off, but it's clear now wheph - then while getting ready to leave in the pouring down rain I felt rain inside the house :O OMG so we've got a leak Yay so fun!!!

Cleaned that up and got to restaurant late but we were the only ones there for the first hour. And the boots are the gift we gave our daughter - she wanted these for possibly her wedding dress ;D Will see!!!

Dec 23 - Day 1

So we went to Newport Beach and had dinner with our daughter then headed to Naples to look at Christmas lights

I've decided to do a 365 for my last year of the 50's and I'm already late LOL but that's ok, I need to be a bit more relaxed with this as it's going to be a busy year and I'm already exhausted - so here goes 59 Day 1

This face just makes me so happy and the diffused light from my new phone just has a dreamy look.

Gorgeous house and lights in Naples

In front of the good ship lollypop - it was so bright it just blew us out but that's ok I still think it's a fun picture :D

A surprise find past Sackets harbor, Southwick State park had a nature trail that you could follow out to the beaches of Lake Ontario

We recently purchased this Blast Zone Rainforest Rapids inflatable water fun centre for a 2 and 4 year old combined birthday party. The two year old had no problems accessing the slides and quickly learned to climb up onto the top of the slide.

Rainforest Rapids was certainly well received with all the kids having a real blast over the two days we had it erected. Keeping the big kids (young and not so young adults) off it was the biggest problem.

The unit is equipped with a blower at the rear which maintains a constant pressure in the unit. A garden hose connects to water sprayers above the 2 slides lubricating them while simultaneously filling a low pool at the base which allows for lots of splashing fun on a hot day. A mesh net above the top of the slide prevents children climbing out over the top. This is a very necessary safety feature.

Setting up and inflating was very easy taking only 2 minutes to inflate once out of the box and positioned. The unit is approx 4.9m (16') wide by 4.6m (15') long.

I would recommend placing a ground sheet under the unit so as to avoid the need to clean the bottom after use.

Deflating took a little more time (approx 10mins or so) with added actual packing up time due to the need to pack the unit away dry.

Up to 4 adults are needed to assist with folding the unit up. The unit will likely need any internal water drained through 2 rear vents. This was not difficult as we were able to place the unit on a slope. Once the water is emptied from within it was important to allow the unit to thoroughly dry right out inside by keeping the air blower circulating air through the unit.

Any water not removed could lead to mould accumulation which could in the longer term damage the unit.

The manufacturers recommend that children between the ages of 2 and 12 only should use the jumping castle and under adult supervision. (Weight limits recommended are 45.45kg (100lbs) per person and a total weight of 363kg (800lbs)

Don't believe the advertising blurb which says it packs up into a sleeping bag sized bag though.

More likely into a large hotel linen sized bag approx 80cm x 80cm. Be sure to have an adequate sized dry place to store the unit planned before considering purchase.

These 3 images were taken in the late afternoon with the unit straight out of the bag.

XMAS 2018 πŸ˜ŽπŸ’–πŸŽ‰πŸ˜

The unit is still in good condition with no tears or punctures. It was erected for a few days at Xmas 2018 but as the kids get older it is used more by visitors younger children than ours. We would consider purchase offers.

A bunch of us have just returned from week in New York for a good friend's 50th. Said friend can't resist the opportunity for a photo with a man in uniform. So we were very lucky to stumble across some of New York's finest putting their engine away. They kindly obliged and dressed the birthday girl up in uniform jacket and hat. (I'm 2nd from left in the spotty scarf.) Thanks to L-118 crew for making my friend's day and for their bravery and the crucial work they do!

So today was a fun and comfy day :D We had Olive Garden take out and then went to look at light at Naples a safe and fun birthday and OMG I can hardly wait to get my hairs done lol ;D

I got this really cute elf jacket when we went to Elf on Shelf Magical Holiday Journey.

And yes I've got covid hair OMG fun stuff!!! ;D

Here are a couple boats all lit up and cruising the canals

These are soooo cool but seems like a lot of work for seeing the lights :D

Are just so gosh darned cute!
