I am photographing the local production of BIRTH this weekend. This is one of my favorite captures from last night. If you haven't seen this play before I highly recommend that you check in your area to see if there is a local production. It is one the most empowering things I have ever been lucky enough to see and be a part of.
Color Tales
2/17
The project should deal with colors and their effect on well-being, feelings, expression and thus on human psychology. When I realized that there was so much more to tell through this project, I began to develop it into an overarching concept. The language of images should not only shed light on the linear theories of the psychological effects of colors. The pictures with the help of the language of colors should tell a story, describe a situation, let thoughts wander into the future or the past, inspire our fantasies.
I used milk, acrylic paint, liquid soap and oil to create this amazing arts.
Every picture tells a story, but I desided not to explane the story behinde each one, but invite you to give your own meaning and your own feelings when you look at the picture. I belive that makes more fun:)
Enjoi it and I hope you’ll like it.
PS: have a good time and take care!
This has become a tradition with us to welcome new arrivals into our family by celebrating their birth day!

Birth of a monarch butterfly. What I found interesting is they have a zipper line which opens to allow them to slip out of their protective jacket. Seen in the before and after shots here.

Thank you Birth ❤️
We were so lucky to be able to witness this Springbok birth just 15 meters next to our car. She gave birth amidst the whole herd. Her abnormal behaviour drew my attention and we saw just the lamb's legs coming. It lasted approximately 40 minutes before the lamb was standing and following the mother. Notice the beautiful bonding :licking of the lamb by the mother.
OK, so not the prettiest of pictures but amazing to witness! Over a week ago I was privileged to witness a Mule deer give birth to the last of her triplets. Never thought the the next day I would witness a White-tailed deer give birth to twins! This was the first one out which had a rather ungraceful entry to the world but within minutes took it's first steps!
Maybe the best shot(s) I every took. So feckin proud.
Because of the backlight.
Of the bokeh.
The silhouette.
The tones.
The fact that it is a selfportrait.
The fact that it is a nature-shot.
Never thought I'd be able to put all these things together.
And only two days 'til my birthday! Makes things even better :-)))
#7 (Herbal Series): You should collect Blackthornblossoms now. They are really helpful ingedrients for herb teas.
How funny - Solarina and I uploaded new shots with very similar titles at nearly the same time! Look here
Both parts were taken this afternoon and weren't planned.
The blossom-part was taken on a walk with my father - I wanted to shoot blackthornblossoms and couldn't capture something satisfying 'til I looked down and photographed what was just below the camera.
The silhouette part (yes, it isn't as sharp as a really gorgeous silhouette should be but hey - it's manual focus, without tripod and I think it works pretty well for this diptych) was taken a minute after I photographed the tea that I should made after the walk. The light falling through the water in the teapot was so pretty that I just had to take a selfie.
I will show you how gorgeous our livingroom looked in that light. It looked so Olive-and-Rose-like. So awesome.
Please notice that I will delete comments that include big shiny awards or funky glittering group invitations. They look awful and well, I don't want my photos' page to look awful. Oh, and please - When you fave my work, also comment on it so I know why you liked it and I can produce more stuff that you like :-)
"Birth.
Slowly, we embrace the world and spread our wings, we realize why we are here and what our mission is. Once we grow up, we often think that the small child we used to be is lost, we think that we'll never see it again... But it is always here, with us. We need to look after, and cherish, this child, and try to always BE that child as much as possible. There is no such thing as growing up. There is only shapeshifting that makes it easier to understand who we are and why were are here.
* The white flowers represent innocence and learning. It spreads around the nest to show that we need to step our in order to get to know our world."
* The red dress signifies love, and it is there twice show it will protect her and always be next to her.

Falls Psychologie interessiert:

If psychology is of interest:
The energy of lust here is transformed into a digital picture.
Lust (B5) motivates sexuality as well as creativity. And of course both at the same time… :-)

"Birth"
This is the first photograph of the nine photograph series I produced for my final A2 photography exam earlier this week. The whole 9 photos took about 7 hours to shoot on the day before my exam and I'm so happy with the way in which they turned out.
I based my photographs on Erik Erikkson's Psychosocial Development Stages, in which a healthily developing human should pass from infancy to late adulthood. In each stage, the person confronts, and hopefully masters, new challenges. Each stage builds upon the successful completion of earlier stages. The challenges of stages not successfully completed may be expected to reappear as problems in the future. I based these photos on the actual stages and not the positive or negative outcomes, which I'm thinking of basing my next project on
This first stage, however, I added in myself. I wanted to add in a photo before infancy to show how we are born in nature by nature. We are pure when we first enter this world and how we don't have any sort of materialistic possessions as of our birth.
Thank you so much to Oli and Chloe for helping me with this, otherwise I would've cried in my exam with no photos to edit whatsoever. So, hopefully this series actually gets me into university in the UK, which I'm absolutely terrified about because I havent moved to another country in like I0 years.

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh
My son Aryan and his caring mom Seema have special relationship.
This is captured in a Mall with available light. I used my fav lens, Jupiter 85mm f2. The focus is little off, but I think that saved the pic. Not sharpened at all. Captured around f3. The lens is just horribly sharp.
