This birdbrain thought it would be a good idea to simply wolf down the cat's chow...not. The cat got pissed and almost had the thief as a meal.

Coo, Harry this smoke is getting up my nose, Quit moaning Birdbrain, at least your feet are warm. The guy that lives in the house is saying, Why is this stupid t.v. not working again?

Sorry for the underexposure. Should use a faster film the next time when shooting in alleys

I've been obsessed with this Blue Heron. Why won't he leave for his summer home? Why do I feel the need to take pictures very time I see him even though none of them turn out especially well? I keep worrying about his leg which has been injured at some point. It is simply driving me mad I tell you. This picture of his birdy head really looks demented. Look at it big. You know you want to.

Pelican Pete shows why he always wears a hat when feeding the pelicans.

It is not for nothing the lingua franca includes the expression 'birdbrain'. A pair of northern parulas -- a species of woodland warbler -- has set up housekeeping just up the hill from the cabin. The missus, seen here, and her man take strong exception to the presence of the rivals they see all too often in the camper window. The rivals of course are nothing more than their own reflections in the glass. But the dear sweet things don't seem to catch on -- they keep attacking the glass, shot through with the courage of their convictions, certain that in the end victory will be theirs.
