This Great-tailed Grackle tried to steal something from right under the bill of a Great Egret----wrong move birdbrain. I would, however, like to thank him for giving me a close-up of the results of his "bravado". Port Aransas,Tx
This bird kept scratching at my window. I suspect that the reason it was doing this was that one of my NAS boxes had a failure and was giving off a high-pitched alarm. Once the alarm was quelched, the bird went away.
Shiver me timbers, I cant find me bleedin matches Fred, bet that darn parrot has nicked them again Tom, you should have drowned it years ago.

I was taking photos of Goldfinches now wearing their bright summer yellows when to my surprise and delight this stunning Baltimore Oriole landed right into the frame of my camera. The six photos are in sequence except for the last and show him trying to figure out how to get the birdseed out of the feeder. He was not able to figure it out, and kept pecking at the seed visible in the plastic tube, but never discovering the opening in the tube were he could feed. I guess this lends credit to the term Birdbrain, LOL.
I had not previously seen him in my area but I have seen him once again since taking these photos in late April. I am hoping he is raising a family in the area.

Meltdown is an unnamed tan semi-reptilian pirate with horns (one of which a gold ring hangs from), antennae protruding from his head, and he sprouts a tail that is as thick as his legs having small claws, and very overweight. Wore in a opening, armless dark-brownish jacket with bluish-grey shorts.
Meltdown is one of John Silver's Pirate Crew in Treasure Planet. He is a semi-reptilian pirate who join to find treasure.
Meltdown is one of the five remaining survivors, along with Birdbrain Mary, Onus, Oxy and Moron who soon later arrested after the mutiny.
According to "A Voyage of Discovery" itself, Meltdown is a wild crazy but both a coward, heartless, and rude, also provoked easily about regarding his weight, as he rears in to kill Doppler for doing so, but that distraction leads to his arrest alongside the remaining pirates.

I laughed so hard when I had seen this. It is a soccer field right in line of the bird migration point in Cobourg. It looked like the birds were having fun. Wouldn't want to play a game of soccer there real bad though. Wonder what birdbrain planned this one out!
