yeah. i know. it's weird.
what can i say....well...i can say this:
I saw an art challenge over at one of the groups i belong to. it was a photo of a stone face...popping out of the stone itself, in the same texture as you see in the face of my strange creation.
rough. stoney.
so...after staring at it for the longest time and wondering what i would do with such a thing...i just plunged in and let the ideas roll themselves out without much forced thinking.
with one layer placed just so...my thoughts went astray and i decided to add some eyes. that led to my finding a way to make some crazy "The Cult" hair.
after that i thought "gee...wouldn't it be uber weird to add in a robot body?
yep...it sure was uber weird...but i liked it because it made me giggle...and wince a little...
after that i said to myself "he looks like some kind of bizarre misfit toy, i think i will call him Big Head Robbie.
and so it was.
after an interminable amount of staring i then thought "gee...wouldn't it be beyond strange if I added in some Meerkats?" LOL........
and thus was born:
Big Head Robbie and the Meerkats.
'nuff said.

The M2-VeinAccess™ unit is a robust finger vein biometric system that works as both a time and attendance terminal and an access control unit. The system utilizes leading identification technolgy that is recongnized for both its high accuracy and speed.
Key features:
Forgery is nearly impossible because finger vein patterns are stored inside the body.
Connects to management software via LAN to enable access logging and user provisioning.
The unit is very high speed and can identify users in about 0.5 seconds in 1:1 scenarios.
Includes free access control or time and attendance software.

Abstract
Identification of people by way of biometric applied sciences is turning into widespread. Different biometric applied sciences like finger, face, voice, iris recognition, and so forth. use totally different behavioral or psychological traits of people for recognition. Early methods used to have password and ID playing cards for verification however it has two main issues of forgotten passwords and stolen ID playing cards. Biometrics offered answer to those issues. Among the all biometrics, iris recognition has achieved highest recognition accuracy. An iris is a coloured space between darkish pupil and brilliant sclera. Iris has distinctive traits like stability of iris patterns all through life time, not surgically modifiable. Its chance of uniqueness amongst all people has made it a dependable and environment friendly human recognition method. It can be utilized in lots of purposes like managed entry, airports, ATM, and so on. Many researchers developed iris recognition methods which are totally different to one another with respect to function extraction.
Iris construction has complicated and plentiful textures which might be extracted as options for iris coding. We current a brand new illustration of iris coding through the use of 2D wavelet. The proposed scheme of function extraction is to make use of the multi-degree coefficients of decomposition elements of picture by way of wavelet. A function vector consists of H-degree decomposition coefficients alongside vertical and horizontal course. From these coefficients a compact binary code is generated.
