The key to a long life is avoiding the ‘poisonous 5 P’s,’ says one of the world’s top anti-aging experts,

Unfortunately, the crowd-pleasing pizza is one of longevity scientist Valter Longo’s “poisonous P’s” for longevity.

Long before Bryan Johnson became famous for his extreme biohacking—undergoing countless tests, following strict eating habits, and taking dozens of supplements in the name of living forever—Valter Longo was obsessed with longevity.
In a profile of the scientist in the New York Times, Longo, a professor of gerontology and director of the USC Longevity Institute in California, says he wants to live 120 to 130 healthy years. His drive for longevity aligns with a growing interest in extending health span, the number of years lived free of disease, as opposed to life span—which refers to the number of years lived.
The Italian lifestyle has long been considered the gold standard for longevity, with the focus on the Mediterranean diet, walkability, and community. Sardinia, Italy, is one of the five original Blue Zones—regions where people live the longest, healthiest lives. Lessons from the residents of Sardinia were the focus of one of the episodes of Dan Buettner’s Netflix documentary Living to 100.
Longo, who was born and raised in Italy, points out that today, “almost nobody in Italy eats the Mediterranean diet.”
Italy’s youth are facing obesity because of what Longo calls the “poisonous five P’s—pizza, pasta, protein, potatoes, and pane (or bread),” Jason Horowitz writes in the NYT. Longo fears Italians will live long but not healthfully if this pattern continues to dominate the culture.
How to reverse it? Longo, author of The Longevity Diet, is a proponent of the original Mediterranean diet, which consists of plant-based foods and nuts. He has his own recipes for longevity on his website, which include sweet and sour sardines, stuffed artichokes, cabbage patties, and onions in walnut sauce.

We have low birth rates, so let’s bring in large numbers of immigrants. Multiculturalism, let’s make you a melting pot of people. We will erode your culture and values…and who needs borders? The future is tranhumanism! Humans will evolve until there is no race or gender or reproduction…as for culture and borders, they will no longer exist…it’s all part of the plan…divide, conquer, and assimilate into the transhuman revolution. Humans will continue to evolve until they no longer resemble humans. Humans will become extinct. Survival of the fittest! Many will die in this evolution of man and AI, but some will adapt and survive. You will be owned like cattle, and once your purpose is fulfilled, we will get rid of you…like we do to those in the womb today…life isn’t sacred…especially if you aren’t even human…just some sort of parasite. Welcome to the New World Order of transhumanism!
Thankfully we have a Saviour, so things will only go so far. The Mark of the Beast is as far as transhumanism will get. When Jesus returns He will throw all the transhumans into hell. That will be the end of transhumanism. There is no eternal life in transhumanism, except for eternal life in hell.

The post How to Stack Coupons appeared first on Bulletproof Coffee Fan Club.
Do you want to save a few bucks when you go shopping? Want to try get items worth hundreds of dollars as freebies? Then you need to start stacking coupons.
Lately, more and more people are getting really interested in gathering up these discounted specials being advertised by companies. Once they have them neatly organised it is time to start redeeming them in the stores across the U.S. to try get a lower price on everything they buy. Why go through all the bother? Well, this way they maximise their savings gained when shopping, whilst the stores get the brand marketing and monetary income benefit from running the promotions. This makes it a win-win situation for the both parties. If you want to join this coupon stacking mania, follow suit. We’ll break down everything there is to know about couponing together!
What is Coupon Stacking?
Coupon stacking is defined as being able to use many coupons in one purchase. This could be when purchasing one item or multiple items at checkout. For example, Kohl’s allow four coupons per order whereas some stores like Michaels allow unlimited stacked coupons. This may include certain dollar amounts off to certain percentages off a transaction.
The term itself suggests the real goal – to merge these money off or percentage off vouchers together and get the best possible price. What you are doing is “stacking” the savings in a cumulative way. So one discount and be added to another discount which means you get a much calculated money off amount at the checkout. However, you cannot do with do this with any and all coupons. There are actually two types you should keep an eye on. They’re the manufacturer’s and the store versions.
When you combine these two types together properly, you will end up saving way more money when shopping than you could have ever hoped for! This is all thanks to the smart and frugal shoppers out there who figured out this money saving technique. Everyone loves a bargain and finding them is a massive incentive for some. Think of it like a game that some people just need to win and beat the system. For example, take British teenager Jordon Cox, he managed to get six hundred pounds worth of food groceries for just four pennies. That is $755 value in food costing only 5c! How did he do that?(1)
Remember how we said there are two types to look out for earlier? Basically, you use a store coupon plus a manufacturer’s when buying a product. Then depending on the terms and discount stated on the coupon, you are able reduce the price of your purchase. In some extreme cases dramatically reduce the price like Jordon did.
For instance, if you’re buying a two-dollar-worth item and you have a store coupon for fifty cents and a manufacturer’s coupon of one dollar, you’ll eventually pay only fifty cents for that item. It’s as simple math as that.
This is why it became popular among shoppers. And the TLC TV shows like Extreme Couponing and Extreme Cheapskates, which revolve around the subject of saving, only increased the interest in stacking coupons.(2)(3)
Types of Savings
Nowadays with the expansion of the internet access on peoples phones and home connections improving online shopping has become the norm for millions of people. Then there is the development of the newer commerce marketing methods like Black Friday and Cyber Monday adverts to entice people to spend money on products that have had prices slashed in flash sales.
You can find awesome deals and dirt cheap bargains everywhere around you, you just need to keep your eyes and ears open for the opportunities. Whether it’s printable coupons or vouchers in the local or national newspapers, online codes you have to type in to get 10 – 90% off, the opportunities are numerous both online and offline.
Big name brick and mortar businesses like Target, Kohl’s, Walgreens, and CVS among many others, allow you to stack physically stack your cut outs and clippings. Whereas, online stores like say Amazon let you just enter a digital code or phrase to redeem online. Saying that, some of the above-mentioned brick and mortar companies have an option for online stacking, too. Frugal mommy bloggers tend to try hunt these down and then promote them to their followers.
Manufacturer Coupons
A big number of the these opportunities that you’ll encounter are actually from the manufacturers marketing campaigns themselves. What does that mean? These types of coupons are issued by the company producing the product that you’re wanting to buy. You can find them advertised in popular magazines, newspapers or on various websites.
Once you print them or crop them out of the paper, you only need to bring them to a participating retailer that accepts them and then try combine this along with a coupon from the store (if it offers one of course).
This way the manufacturer allows you to buy the product from them with the best pricing available. For instance, when you buy Coca-Cola in Target with a manufacturer coupon, you are buying it directly from the Coca-Cola Company with their discount and not from the retailer (or in this case Target).
Store Coupons
The situation is slightly different with this type. Here the discount doesn’t come from the manufacturer (The Coca-Cola Company in the previous example), but from the store in which you actually buy the product (like Target). The logic behind this is that the store renounces a small part of their profit in favour of the promotion they get for the products. Most often they do it to attract more customers.
There are a lot of ways through which the stores get the word out to the customers about the super deals and savings they are offering for a limited time.
Firstly, they normally advertise themselves in magazines and newspapers again advertising the offer to all the readers. They’re normally easily recognisable as they feature the store’s logo and its name, leaving you with the quick job of cutting them.
Aside from this, the online versions of these offers are found on the stores website as well as the store’s email newsletters. You can simply print them at home from these sources and present your printed papers at your net store purchase to earn the discount.
What’s more, you can also stack rewards and deals which the stores use as part of their marketing strategy. By gathering them from the papers and newsletters and combining them, you’ll be able to receive even more discounts.
Store Gift Cards
Coupons aren’t the only ones helping you make big savings. The gift cards from the stores are great for this purpose, too. Especially when you stack them with the coupons.
How does it work? The only thing you do is show the manufacturer and store coupons at the register and then pay for the goods with the gift card. That way you get a way lower price for your products.
Note that you can buy such discounted gift cards online (Gift Card Granny) and save on that, too.
Rebate Apps
Finally, rebate apps represent the modern way of saving money while shopping. And you don’t use any coupons at all to do that! You simply need a smartphone to download these apps on.
After getting the receipt from the store, you’re supposed to take a picture of it through the rebate apps in order to get a part (or a full amount) of the money you’ve spent. So cool, right?
Some of the most popular rebate apps making the headlines are Ibotta, Jingit, Checkout 51, and ReceiptHog.
Online Stores That Allow Coupon Stacking
Kohl’s allows 4 coupons per order.
Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy and Athleta allow 5 coupons per order.
Amazon allows unlimited coupons per order.
Target allows one manufacturer & one store per order.
Michaels allows unlimited per order.
Newegg.com allows unlimited per order.
Sears allows unlimited per order.
CVS allows one manufacturer & one store per order.
Online Stores That Do Not Allow Coupon Stacking

On the other side of the pond, however, the Brits celebrate Boxing Day. As the name suggests, they pack leftovers, money, and other gifts in boxes and give them to the less fortunate. Aside from this, this day is a huge shopping day across the United Kingdom and its former colonies. Something similar to Black Friday, the Britons get the best deals on their most-wanted products. Some even postpone their Christmas shopping for this day. The same applies to their Canadian counterparts, while this tradition remains unknown in the USA.
Why Is Christmas Day on the 25th December?
But how did it all begin? Why do we celebrate Christmas on the 25th December? What happens before and after this great holiday? We’ll cover everything here! So let’s get in the holiday mood together!
Nowadays, Christmas holds a great value both in a religious and commercial sense. However, the holiday as we know it today didn’t exist until the nineteenth century.
In the ancient times, even before Christ was born, people still gathered together in the middle of winter to celebrate life and light and hope for a better year.
In various countries, these days of celebration were given different names such as Winter Solstice and Yule.
While these happened in the north, in Rome where it was much warmer, the feasting took a slightly different turn. There the natives honoured the god Saturn and later the god Mirtha. However, the wish to mark Jesus’s birth rose in the Christian world in the fourth century. The only problem was that the Bible didn’t state the exact day Jesus came to the world.
So, after the Pope chose it, December 25 was pronounced as the date when Christmas is observed. It coincided with the pagan winter solstice celebrations in Rome, which provided the perfect chance to absorb some of those traditions. Another suggestion is that the date was picked because it was believed that Mary got the news of the very special baby on 25th March. And 25th December is nine months later!
In any case, starting from the 1800s this day has been marked with the well-known customs ranging from decorating a tree, exchanging presents and waiting for Santa Clause to arrive.

I just started watching Fringe season 5 [1], which was just concluded. I generally prefer to do season-long marathons over watching things weekly. Pacing is better for me this way.
What I used to do is chain-smoke while watching TV. But I can’t do it in Hong Kong so I started eating pistachios instead. One bag of pistachios span approximately 3 40min episodes. A bit fattening I think.
For those of you who commented that I should quit smoking, I think that I will pick getting skinny with a potentially shorter lifespan over getting fat and thus minimizing chance to get suitable mates.
Besides, SML Family has a history of long life anyway. Everybody who has passed away in the previous generations are over 90yo. I would much rather rip the benefits of smoking over living til I am over 100.

The post So What is a Peaberry Coffee Bean? appeared first on Bulletproof Coffee Fanclub and Tips.
Peaberry coffee beans, arabica beans, robusta beans, loads of words that mean what when all I want to do is drink some good coffee please barista!
I know I’m talking to the already converted, however, coffee is a the most enjoyable beverage. This not only for its refined robust flavor, tons of benefits, but also for the signature energy boost that has empowered the people, finished deadlines and won empires. (Fun Fact: Did you know that Benjamin Franklin used to hangout in coffee shops before it became fashionable¹) Plus of course those of us who add some butter and MCT oil in our Bulletproof Coffee in the morning
As the novice coffee drinker delves deeper into the world of these percolated brown potions they will indubitably be captivated by the vast extent of fascinating flavors and delicious varieties that await them at their local Java fuelling station.
One of the curiosities you are sure to find as you explore the world of coffee is the peaberry bean. Many people mistakenly assume this is a specific species of bean or even a special blend, but neither of these descriptions are accurate.
Watch this video from Starbucks giving you a quick overview.
The Botanical Difference That Makes a Peaberry Coffee Bean Different
Doesn’t matter which bean you grind all coffee have traces its origin to a genus of plants known as Coffea². Anyone who has carefully examined your average coffee cherry will notice it has a round side and a flat side that is split in two. This is because the green coffee bean is actually a fruit, a berry to be precise called a coffee cherry. Each berry produces two of these ovules.
There is however, at least one exception to this rule, sometimes two seeds don’t develop within the coffee berry. When this happens, the single seed growing inside the berry is not limited to one side and grows into a “rounded” coffee bean or a Peaberry coffee bean.
These peaberries are usually much smaller than their “twin” counterparts and develop an elongated shape when roasted.
So What is the Big Deal About Peaberry Coffee Beans?
Coffee cherries are the fruit of the coffee tree. Inside each coffee cherry there are two seeds – we know and refer to these as coffee beans. Which means, as you might just have guessed, that a peaberry (also known as a caracoli) is nothing more than a coffee bean without a partner. They occur in many different forms and varieties in almost every growing region and usually anywhere between 5 percent to 15 percent of coffee cherries can contain only a smaller single coffee bean. They are much smaller than the usual green coffee bean.
Well first of all they are coffee beans and are endowed with immutable value as such. After that, it really depends on who is answering the question. The first thing to know is that peaberries are a genetic mutation and exist in all coffee types grown everywhere that grows coffee from Brazil to Hawaii.
Then if you would ask this question to the big coffee emporium, selling peaberries at four or five times the rate of regular beans, they would explain in no uncertain terms that not only is the taste of peaberries superior, it is also the cure for premature balding and the answer to the upcoming energy crisis — they could be exaggerating their answers a little bit.
The fact is most coffee aficionados will tell you there is not really much difference in the flavors of the regular bean and the peaberry. It is the belief that a single bean in a berry will receive the nutrients and flavors of two berries and create a “super berry” — but, it just doesn’t work that way.
One reason that peaberries should be more costly is that they are rare and therefore especially hard to find in a ton of coffee beans . Because 5% of the unroasted beans are peaberries it will take serious sorting to create a kilo of peaberries — but it does happen.
Naturally, when it comes to roasting peaberries, the process will be different. The size of the peaberry is different and therefore the temperatures will have to be adjusted accordingly. Some coffee roasters think that roasting peaberries is slightly more challenging than roasting regular coffee beans. That’s down to the shape, and size meaning that more care is required then usual. As such, a slow and steady roast works best and that’s in order to ensure that the flavours develop on the inside just as much as on the outside. Nevertheless, if you think there will be some sublime nuances in the flavor profile of a peaberry that are lacking in the regular Joe— you may find you are only paying for the sorting process.
Can You Easily Spot a Peaberry on the Farm?
Unfortunately, because there’s no way to tell from looking at the coffee cherry if the coffee seeds inside are going to be a peaberry or two coffee beans it means that they have to be hand sorted after picking and then processed in order to be sold separately to the normal coffee beans. In many cases the peaberries are sold alongside the normal coffee beans in order to save money. All of this means that if you want to try peaberries be prepared to pay more per gram then you would with normal coffee beans.
There was a time (believe it or not) when peaberry coffee beans were rejected. They were considered inferior!!! In short, this was due to their size and the somewhat unappealing difference in their appearance with regular coffee beans. In terms of appearance, because it’s the only coffee bean in the cherry there’s nothing for it to grow against and flatten it, meaning that the single coffee bean develops into an unusual oval (or pea) shape.
Do Peaberries Taste Better Than Regular Arabica or Robusta Beans?
Despite this, today many people believe that because peaberries are smaller – all of their flavour is ultra concentrated into the one coffee bean. Fans of peaberry coffee beans usually say that they taste sweeter and more flavoursome. However, it is not really clear if this is actually the case. Instead rather like normal coffee beans some of them can taste amazing, and some of them can be rather average. One thing is for sure though, and that’s they are quite different from anything else on the coffee market and they have the ability to taste very special. So much so, that some varieties of peaberry have been breed for their peaberry.
Don’t trust this humble article as the golden truth, it’s always best to try it yourself. If you buy your beans whole and grind them at home, not only will you be enjoying a VASTLY superior brew, you will get the chance to sort for Peaberries . When you have collected a few tablespoons, do a taste test and post your comments below. Enjoy your Brew!

It is quickly becoming feasible to reconstitute the genomes of vanished species using genetic material from preserved specimens and archaeological artifacts. Three different techniques are being deployed. Revivals already under way include mammoths, aurochs, and passenger pigeons. Candidate species include the dodo, the Carolina parakeet, the thylacine (Tasmanian tiger), and the Xerces blue butterfly. If we can actually revive an extinct species, should we? If so, why bother? Are some species more desirable, valuable, or ethical to bring back than others? Is it ethical to “improve” a revived species—for example to make a formerly extinct bird resistant to avian malaria? Do revived species have a “right” to be returned to the wild? Should revived species be treated as genetically modified organisms? In this session we can discuss the rapidly evolving science making all this possible and the downstream implications and opportunities.
Here is the lineup… So many great ones overlap. Sadly, right now, I’m missing the trillion-fps camera imaging the movement of light. Decisions, decisions…

Clockwise from top left: Strattera, Viagra, Panadol, Nicorette. Yes these are all prescriptions.
Why do I get Viagra? Well one of the reasons I don't like to take Strattera aka the “chill pill for when interfacing with humans” is that although it halves my speed and thus make it possible for me to talk to humans in their “normal speed,” it has very severe sexual side effects. It is very challenging.
People who take psychiatric meds would understand this. Many anti-depressants have this side effect mainly because of their specific mechanism of actions (MOA). So it is rather wtf sometimes. You take meds to help you adjust your mood so you don't get depressed but then you would then completely suck in bed.
Not too good ey? But get this—the blue pill pretty much turns you into a sex god and seriously ever since I get these prescriptions there are more than enough men in New York lining up to “play” with me. Oh the crazy insane world of fun when you are certifiably crazy—like I said, Crazyisgood! :)

The post National Coffee Day vs International Coffee Day: History Story appeared first on Bulletproof Coffee Fan Club.
Every year millions coffee lovers from around the world get a chance to celebrate their passionate love for anything related to a cup of java. It is a once a year event that is promoted by major food & beverage retailers and various associations. Of course that depends if you follow either the 29 Sept day in the US or 1 Oct day around the rest of the world. Either one was created as an awareness day designed to promote the amazing coffee culture, which you can read more about in the history section.
In the US, many big name brands like: Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Wawa, McDonalds and 7-Eleven, for example, typically give away free cups of coffee on the day to consumers visiting a participating store or restaurant. These companies like to run these specials to help attract more clients to their particular convenience food and drinks brand. It makes sense why. The end goal being that customers who take them up on the free coffee offer, in the short-term come into a store and spend some money. Then they will hopefully return time and time again in the future when they think of buying a take-away cup of joe. Brand loyalty and more lifetime sales at the end of the day would be a great marketing result.
What is National Coffee Day?
National coffee day is only promoted nationally within the US, with its origins coming from the National Coffee Association (NCA). The NCA is the major organiser who is behind this unique US holiday. The official social media hashtag is #NationalCoffeeDay used by official NCA channels: Twitter, Facebook, its blog and official website page.
Is It National Coffee Day Today?
National coffee day in the United States of America is always celebrated each year on the 29th September. It was on Thursday, September 29 in 2016 and will be on Friday, September 29 in 2017. This means the day of the week can be different each year, but the calendar date will always be the same.
History
The US uses a different calendar date compared to the rest of the world for which day they celebrate on for some reason which will see below. There are reports that say the NCA started promoting this awareness day back in 2005. However, it hasn’t been easy to find a reference like an old press release, advert image or clipping, news article or archive webpage. The earliest sign we could find online was only in 2013 with this tweet from their official account:
Mark your calendars, Sunday, September 29th is National Coffee Day! t.co/93XyBvrAfD
— Nat'l Coffee Assoc (@nationalcoffee) September 27, 2013
It would appear that the New Orleans Coffee Festival on 3 October 2009, which was held at The Southern Food and Beverage Museum, used the term National or International Coffee Day in the US. However, this wasn’t the start of the official day worldwide.(1) You can see old archive images of the what happened on the day here.
What is International Coffee Day?
International coffee day is promoted globally around the world, with its origins coming from the International Coffee Organisation (ICO). ICO are the international body that represents many foreign countries and is the organiser behind this holiday event. The official social media hashtag is #InternationalCoffeeDay used by official ICO channels: Twitter, Facebook, its blog and official website page.
When is International Coffee Day?
The official international coffee day (ICD) that is marketed by the International Coffee Organisation (ICO) is always on 1 October of each year. It was on Saturday, October 1 in 2016 and will be on Sunday, October 1 in 2017. This means the day of the week can be different each year, but the calendar date will always be the same.
History
As with most national holidays and special events there is a historical reason why it was started by someone or an organisation behind it just like Cyber Monday and Black Friday for example.
As you could see by the two different dates mentioned above, that many countries around the world might celebrate their own version of a dedicated day at custom dates throughout a year.
During the ICO meeting on 3-7 March of 2014 held at the ICO headquarters, 22 Berners Street, London, UK, the council tabled a proposal to consider for an International Coffee Day. The proposal was put forward by the Private Sector Consultative Board (PSCB) of the organisation. The 77 Member States of the ICO then discussed this idea during the meeting and put it to a vote. The proposal was passed and it was agreed to, by ICO member states, to celebrate International Coffee Day annually on 1 October, starting 2015, instead of each country having a unique day. This would help to create uniformity in the marketing awareness campaign by creating just one single day of celebration for lovers of coffee from around the world. (2)(3)
ICO member governments represent 98% of world coffee production & 83% of world consumption with a list of current member countries as June 2016 below (*denotes provisional application)(4)

Which Event is Bigger?
As you can see from the graph below. According to historical Google trends data, the amount of people searching online from around the world for the either term shows a clear winner.
Source: Google Trends
Looking at the difference between the blue US celebrates day & red international celebrated day phrases it is blatantly obvious which one is way more popular and gets a significantly bigger percentage of online traffic and searches per year.
You can also see when the spikes in the graph occurred that most people searching online for more information will do so roughly between Sep, 27 – Oct, 4 dates. This is since it is a one day event with flash sale deals to be had.
Other Notable Dates
The oldest mention of an organised national coffee day marketing event was by the “All Japan Coffee Association” back in 1983. Translated from Japanese in to English they said:
“In Japan, the fact that coffee consumption is higher in the Autumn and Winter period, in 1983 the All Japan Coffee Association declared October 1 would defined as Coffee of the Day”.(4)
Japan is an ICO member state which could explain how 1st October was chosen.
Marketing Ideas
Both the ICO and NCA USA would like to encourage any independent businesses, private companies, public associations, and of course coffee lovers to arrange to host an event or awareness campaign on either dedicated day.
Some ideas how to do this could be:
Tweet, Pin, or Facebook Share this Image on Your Social Media Accounts with a Hashtag
* Use social media channels like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to invite friends to an event using the official hashtag #InternationalCoffeeDay or #NationalCoffeeDay. To help get you started we made this image for you
* Host a coffee cupping tasting event at a local coffee shop, work office or even in your own home.
* Run a limited offer discount on coffee related products via a promotion if you own a coffee shop or cafe.
* Make a personal video about how much or why you love coffee so much. Use this footage to upload YouTube & promote on social media websites along with the #InternationalCoffeeDay or #NationalCoffeeDay hashtag.
* Run an coffee themed art competition. Once people have entered their pieces of art (photography, poetry, drawing, paintings, sculptures, short stories…) hold an exhibition to display them for others to see and appreciate them.
* Host a masterclass or workshop. Maybe teach different brewing techniques using a French Press or Aeropress, how to do latte art or educate people on how to roast coffee beans at home & the differences between a light, medium or dark roast.
* Host a mini-lecture by an expert knowledgeable about everything coffee, like say a local roaster or barista talking about what are peaberry coffee beans or how to make butter coffee.
* Arrange an organised tour to a local coffee farm and/or washing station to get the more people interested in farming and growing coffee plants.
* Promote a charity fundraising campaign to raise money or supplies that go toward helping charitable coffee projects.
* Have a screening of a coffee-related film, like The Coffee Man documentary or any other one, at a local venue or cinema.
Conclusion
Whatever you decide to do for marketing, the day is all about creating awareness of this top 3 traded commodity in the world. Not only the money that is made from trading it. Think of all the people involved in getting the final product into your cup for you. From the growers, farm workers, exporters, buyers, roasters and baristas who make it for you with love and passion. Happy Coffee Lovers Day where ever you are drinking some today

Bulletproof Diet Book
Titled: “The Bulletproof Diet: Lose up to a Pound a Day, Reclaim Energy and Focus, Upgrade Your Life.” It was published on December 2, 2014. This is the book that made Dave Asprey a NY Times best selling author when it made the 2015 NYT best selling list in the Food and Diet category.(1)
This the perfect reference if you want to learn everything you need to know how to start the Bulletproof Diet for either men, women or even children. This of course includes the world famous Bulletproof Coffee recipe and the dietary benefits behind it. This is perfect for a beginner who knows nothing about the concept of biohacking. The book will take you on a journey of discovery from what foods to eat an what to avoid like the plague.
This is using an easy to understand food diagram (fridge poster available here) with one side showing a green zone that contains the things you should be eating to the red zone which are the bad things and should be avoided. That makes understanding what to buy at the grocery store so much easier than other diet books. The details for why a specific item of food, like certain vegetables, are in the green zone. The reason why they are good for are explained in easy to understand language and with great references and case studies. The same goes for the red zone foods. These are the ones Dave typically refers to kryptonite and are the kind of menu items that could ruin your day with an unwanted side-effect. Dave explains from his years of experiments why something in what you just ate could make you feel unwell or be helping to cause an unwanted symptom.
It is recommended to use the free Bulletproof Food Detective app when you buy this book. It will help you see if what you ingested is showing up as a possible food allergy by watching your heart rate variability. This will help you take what you are learning about this upgraded biohackers version of the paleo and ketogenic diets and start seeing short term effects. Of course when you stick the course and follow the advice you could be like one of the many testimonials of people losing excess weight for the first time in years and looking great again. You’ll probably end up doing before and after photos just to appreciate the massive change in body shape that come from getting a smaller, ideal waist size again.
Grab a copy if you haven’t already and start changing your diet and your life starting at breakfast tomorrow.
It is available to buy in Kindle, Paperback or Hardback formats from Amazon.com

It will take a ton of stress out your life worrying what to make for breakfast, lunch or supper. With easy to understand recipes, ingredient amounts to use and pictures to show you what a dish ends up looking like this is a fantastic guide to keep in the kitchen.
We all need some inspiration what to do to feed yourself or a family. Don’t get stuck staring into a fridge not knowing what to pull out. Follow the tips and start creating amazing egg dishes that help burn fat to start the day. Salads that don’t make you feel like a rabbit eating dry grass, but rather a scrumptious juicy flavor full lunch. Discover how easy it is to grill meat so you don’t overcook it and destroy the amazing health benefits that come from knowing what temperature to heat different food items at.

The Stretch Marks Factor
Titled: “The Stretch Marks Factor: Prevent Stretch Marks & Build Naturally Vibrant Skin.” It was published on November 8, 2016. This is the book that Dave has authored along with his wife, Dr. Lana Asprey to compliment their other better baby book.
Did you know that your skin is the biggest organ in the body? Too many people take their precious skin for granted. This is especially true when we are young and have a youthful appearance. We might be tricked into thinking we will look like this forever. However, this is definitely not the case. The skin on our faces can tell a story from the wrinkles, crows feet, frown lines and bags under the eyes. We need to actively help our skin organ to keep it looking its best.
Then there is the issue of stretch marks. This is a problem for both men and women! Dave is open when he shows pictures of when he was obese and was then able to lose all that excess weight and look muscular again. However, when you are that big you stretch your skin and end up with unwanted fat person, silver and white stretch lines. The same happens with body builders, Like on their pecs and biceps, when they grow their muscles by doing lots of gym.
Then there are the pregnant mums who love having a baby, but not the stretch tummy skin and possible marks from it. Lana has a passion for fertility and explains why only 50% of pregnant women ever get the issue. Then there are the other answers given to common questions like:
What is the connection between hormones, stress and stretch marks?
What is the one key type of skin cells that is causing stretch marks (and wrinkles) plus how do you to try keep them healthy?
What are the seven key nutrients that make healthy skin plus what foods to avoid?
What are the six cutting-edge techniques to help eliminate stretch marks without the need for seeing a plastic surgeon?
What supplements are essential for blemish-free skin that make you appear healthier again?
“Stretch marks are a burden or a fear for many people, but they don’t have to be. With proper nutrition and an informed lifestyle, you can keep stretch marks at bay and reap the benefits of healthy skin. Stretch marks have affected my life, and Lana and I hope this book will keep them from affecting yours.” – Dave and Lana Asprey Quote

VEGETARIAN Mr. Olympia Bodybuilder! - Pollo-Vegetarian Albert Beckles takes #1 and pulls off the win at the Mister Olympia IFBB Body Building Championship at the Night of Champions!
The Pollo-Vegetarian had superior muscle quality and packed on huge amounts of protein all with NO Red Meat.
Not only that, but since vegetarians have higher longevity and remain more fit for a longer period of time, pollo vegetarian Al Beckles pulled this off with massive amounts of plant solid muscle-mass at the incredible age of 53!
The world-class level no-red-meat-at-all vegetarian also won the Mr. WORLD AAU MOST MUSCULAR and the world champion vegetarian is featured on the Truly Huge body-building website.
The protein-packed vegetarian strongman reached #2 in the world, and even won the Grand Prix New England BodyBuilding Championship.
Plant-based diet vegetarian protein yields higher quality muscle which is superior to a meat-eater who needs some other animal to eat the plants first for him before he eats it second-hand. Thus meat-protein is more flabby and less solid and lower quality than a man who obtains the more superior vegetarian-based rock-solid protein muscle.
Plant diets are also higher in Iron than meat, and meat is contaminated with the type of iron called "heme" iron which is known to be weaker and cause heart problems in anyone who eats meat. Iron in plants is also more absorbable because plants contain ascorbic acid vitamin C which supercharges the better quality plant-based iron.
Albert Beckles is still today considered to have some of the most amazing musculature in the world, especially his rippling arms, and is famous for what he acheived in his biceps. All acheived eating NO RED MEAT.
Vegetarian tears phone book in half.

“iTunes: Country change” $AAPL #UX #FAIL #opinions

1. The updated iTunes is awesome. Spiffy and neat. SML Love. SML Thank You. Yes I own a lot of @Tiesto. Tiesto is my “work like a machine” biohacking music. The US Air Force uses Amphetamine for the same purpose, but Tiesto is both safer and cheaper (and legal in most countries).
2. Now that my iTunes Match subscription has ended, I can finally change country. SML Thank You. Updated my credit card information to Hong Kong, so all should be good, right?
3. Apparently not. I kept on getting error 5002. Googling the net it seems that credit card info is the issue. People suggest that removing CC and then only subscribing again should work. But not for me.
4. But I have identified the issue. Basically, the US address entries contain City and State information which Hong Kong address does not. But since I used to live in New York, those fields are active, thus obviously my bank does not authorize an address in Brooklyn but there is no way for me to remove those entries in my address fields [2]
SML2AAPL: please fix! SML Thank You in advance.

#OnlyInHK—“Torino Lamborghini cigarettes” #wtf #crazyisgood
Branded as the L6 and L8, the Lamborghini cigarettes designate their product lines with respect to the amount of nicotine in each cigarette. Hong Kong cigarette packaging is very informational. You know exactly how much nicotine and tar you are consuming. Unlike in the US where cigarettes’ nicotine content is a complete guessing game, at a glance you know on the packaging that the L8 contains 8mg tar and 0.8mg nicotine. The Davidoff which I smoke usually contains 10mg tar and 0.9mg nicotine. Knowing this also makes buying Nicorettes easier.
How does it taste? Pretty good. I don’t really think that I will be changing brands any time soon. But I do still miss my additive-free cigarettes in New York: American Spirit and Nat Sherman’s, which I cannot find in Hong Kong at all. International travel is no longer an option either as cigarette allowance is 19 count (1 box of 20 minus 1) which is why the trash bin before custom is a cemetery for that single cigarette disposal. It is stupid really. Hong Kong Gov should just create a cigarette recycling bin I think…

Give me a camera, and I am never bored.
The urban life is filled with deadweight time. For this photo, I was waiting for the bus to go home. But once I have a camera in hand then I can be stuck in traffic all day long without a moment of boredom.
This is why there is a photography series for shopping malls, a photography series for human logistics, a photography for almost everything—even for when I go to bathrooms.
Photography is my creative outlet. It brings me happiness. It prevents me from killing myself. It is in many ways my biohack. I have ADHD+Bipolar, so I get bored very easily. But photography keeps life interesting to me. And having an interesting life is what makes life worthy to live for.
