Played around once again with the more modern system/CCBS hybrid style of Bionicle. I always prefer to build in the more classic way, just because it's fun for me, but hey you know playing around with this style has been great fun and I'd love to do more of it.

So this character has changed a decent amount when you compare him to his old version, at least visually. I had a really clear image in mind that I wanted to achieve this time around and I think I really managed to nail it. I'm very happy with the end result. I have some other Rahi and Makari (the character mentioned in Gelidos's story) coming up soon. So more Bionicle is on the way.

When the brains attacked Makuhero City, preventing the heroes from being infected became of utmost priority for Hero Factory. As a result, in order to safeguard the precious Quaza Hero Cores many new pieces of armor were developed. One of these prototypes is proudly worn by Proto Team Leader Omar Cage and is said to be the most unbreachable and secure Quaza Core ever installed. It is so secure, in fact, that it requires a 40 minutes disassembly process every time it needs to be recharged. No matter how smart the enemy, no brain can get through three passwords, an armored padlock, a fingerprint scan and a captcha!
Spoopy day for spoopy MOCs. The body was heavily inspired by General Grievous.

Backstory:
Matoran and Toa alike no very little of this elder entity, most of his history has been lost to legend. When Aeon acquired the power of the Vault, he ascended to godhood. When he achieved this god like status, he created life on Aeos-magna, a planet once covered in ash and dust. What Aeon didn’t expect when he reached godhood, is that he would be joined by another god like being. After his creation of Aeos, he heard a small, faint voice call out to him. This voice brought him to the brim of the known universe, Aeos being the heart of it. Once he reached the edge, he found a chasm of nothingness in front of him, filled with nothing but darkness. In this chasm, Aeon found a purple like miasma. This miasma was the voice that beckoned him. Aeon asked for its name, but only got one response, “Void”. The miasma formed into a being, a being looking much like a twisted, darker version of Aeon.
The Void had little to say to Aeon, simply explaining Aeon’s place in this world. When Aeon was created, The Void was created consecutively. It explained how the universe has an uncanny need for balance, for control over what it makes, and that it was the answer to Aeon. Aeon could not create recklessly without consequence, and The Void was that consequence. Whatever Aeon created needed to eventually die, decay, and rot away into nothingness, and The Void was the being to bring his creation into nothing. The Void also explained that Aeon, too, would be taken by him. Obviously, Aeon refuted this, how could his paradise be taken away from him?
He left The Void in his abyss and returned to his creation, to Aeos. He tried to block that abomination from his mind, but he couldn’t ignore it. Not long after he became hands off in his world, he confronted The Void again in his little pocket of darkness. Aeon set aside his arrogance and came to terms with The Void on how the universe would run. Obviously, creation must die, Aeon saw this happen without permission, and he was willing to accept this. As long as The Void did not take his habits too far, Aeon would not either.
However, after this final meeting, both beings kept secrets to help further their agendas. The Void, in his spare time, created the Apocalypse Triggers and let their seeds sow into the myths of Aeos-Magna. Aeon, in his spare time, has created unknown way to combat the destructive force of The Void. Only the future holds what will become of the universe in a war between this gods, but for now, they do what they must, together.

Hobgoblin continues to attack offices and buildings to exact revenge on those who's death benefits his plan to get more influence in the crime syndicates of New York. However, he didn't expect Spider-Gwen to be on his tail to stop him. But will she be strong enough and fast enough?

So here's another Marvel MOC from me :) This time a little smaller. I've had this custom Spider-Gwen fig and this custom Hobgoblin figure (which I bought before the official came out... yeah :P) for a while now and wanted to build something awesome with it. I tend to build way way too big so it was nice to do something small but still detailed.
Now I don't read much Spider-Gwen, but I loved her in Spider-verse and The Clone Conspiracy. I know that her earth is of course different to 616 and thus a lot of her villains are different. I am not sure if she's fought a Hobgoblin equivalent yet but my thinking was since this is also a custom Hobgoblin (and thus slightly different to the official one) It's the usual Multiverse shenanigans of a slightly different take on a villain. So yeah #benlogic :D
Hope you enjoyed. Up next will likely be some more Bionicles or another Marvel build... no spoilers for what they are though :P hehehe

So yes your eyes do not deceive you, this is in fact a Red Cossy. No edits, It is 100% legit... apart from the Red Surge, Monarth ages ago bought these Bootleg Hero Factory sets, one had a Red Surge mask in it. He sat on it for years and never used it. After a chat on Discord he was kind enough to send it to me. Thank you very much Monarth!
And no this isn't a replacement of Cossy, my Self MOC is still blue, as he always was (but he has those new wings)
So this is very much just a carbon copy of the normal Cossy, just recoloured. I wasn't planning on going all out on this build, I really just wanted to make a Red version of Cossy :P
(That said the next Bionicle MOC I've made is among my best, so stay tuned for that if you're after a more technical build)

Glad I was able to bring back and expand on this character. Always loved his design, and I'm happy with how he turned out. I do feel there's a few things I could do to improve him, but I'm still happy with the overall design really :)

I had a really clear image in mind that I wanted to achieve this time around and I think I really managed to nail it. I'm very happy with the end result. I have some other Rahi and Makari (the character mentioned in Gelidos's story) coming up soon. So more Bionicle is on the way.
I've started this MOC over two years ago, and had made substantial progress towards this current version all the way back in Jan 2021, when it was about 75% done. Then life got in the way, and I had to prioritise other things, namely finishing my PhD, moving house, getting married, and a whole lot more. Since January I've been slowly reclaiming back some time for my #LEGO #hobby and I've been really enjoying it as of late. I plan to bring you guys a whole lot more in the coming weeks and months.
For now, enjoy this MOC and please let me know what you think! I'll also take this moment to thank my MasterPiece friends for their constant encouragement and support throughout this journey, without whom I'm not sure this would have turned out nearly as good.

MOC Status: Assembled.
Eris isn’t the brightest hatchling in the nest. She was raised with a formal education, studied in her field of interest, and was taught to fly by her parents and a very early age. However, she is always in her own little world, not choosing to ignore the world around her, but just not realizing it’s there half the time. She is quirky, welcoming, but hard to keep a conversation on one topic for more than a few minutes.
After getting an education, she started to take up photography as a career. Eris figured since she could fly, she could take amazing landscape photos and sell them. Although, she never thought about how to hold the camera with her wings. She commissioned a local robot to create a mechanical arm that she could wear to hold and operate the camera. She changes the settings and hits the shutter with her beak but goes through a lot of cameras that way. At times, she also holds the camera with her talons as she flies, but has dropped at least 3 in the past year. She also serves coffee and hot oil to any of her customers and lets them stay in her shop as long they would like, Eris enjoys the company.

So got the urge to build this recently. One of Djokson’s MOC’s really inspired me on this one, I knew I wanted to build a small female robot and it then evolved into making my own version of Shadowgear’s MOC Circuit. I’ve followed each version of that MOC as it’s been posted and loved each one. The current version rocks but I miss the old power plug pony tail so I kinda added all my favourite parts, from past versions onto this MOC.
Shadowgear is one of my closest Bionicle MOCing friends and is always a pleasure to hang out with, so here’s to you buddy! Hope you enjoy this.
I might make another small robot girl in a similar vein to this build soon. It was fun.
Also Brickvention 2018 is happening in almost 2 weeks, so hyped! Sound off in the comments if you’ll be there.
