West Site, University of Cambridge. William = Bill:-) This was one of those images you could crop in numerous ways. I went for this, to include the car, for scale. I also left in the shadow of the security camera to add the human element. Without these interests the image would be very abstract, which is not what I had in mind for this first shot to introduce this building. Watch out for the new "West Site" set:-)
We were driving by this and the clouds grabbed my attention. I thought it would be cool to do selective color. My husband says it looks sinister and reminded him of Lex Luthor's Conglomerate headquarters, LexCorp. No offense Bill Gates! In my opinion, you deserve an honorary Eisner Award if you even know who Lex Luther is! HSS!
World Health Assembly 2011: The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation organized a meeting on ending Polio.
Public health officials from almost 200 nations are meeting in Geneva May 16-24, trying to devise strategies to address the many health problems that shorten life and diminish its quality for millions of people.
U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius is leading the U.S. delegation of about 25 to the World Health Assembly, which is the annual gathering for member states of the World Health Organization (WHO).
A major focus of the meeting will be WHO's first Global Status Report on Noncommunicable Diseases which found that diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease and diabetes cause the greatest number of deaths each year – 63 percent of all deaths worldwide in 2008.

This incredible glass structure sits in front of what was The Sundowner Motel in Albuquerque. The Sundowner was built in 1960 during the heart of Route 66 tourism.
This glass structure casts amazing coloured shadows on the ground. I'd love it in my yard.
This motel was where Bill Gates and Paul Allen lived when they wrote a version of the programming language BASIC for the Altair 8800 computer in 1975. Their company Albuquerque based MITS later moved off to Seattle as they were unable to get funding from banks here in Albuquerque. The rest, as they say, is history.
The Sundowner Motel is now an apartment complex.

While walking through Sydney this afternoon I saw this guy sitting on the monument outside the Queen Victoria Building, to me, he looked like a Bill Gates teen, after I took his photo he asked me if I wanted him to move of the monument so I could take a photo of it, once he realised I was taking his photo he had no issues with a little pose, thanks whoever you were.

Some of the murals out there are not what you might expect...like this one in East Nashville, TN on the side of the a building located at 1106 Gallatin Avenue. As you can see, this painting was done by Bryan Deese and features Microsoft's Bill Gates, Apple's former CEO Steve Jobs, and even a little depiction of the original computer game, Wagon Train. This is one of the more detailed murals that I've seen and the portraits look exactly like the people they represent.
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

An usual confluence of invitations had me dining with Gates for lunch and dinner on the same day (coincidentally, philosopher-king Daniel Dennett was also at both meals).
After we sat down, Gates lamented the setback from the Muslim clerics who preached that polio vaccines made the girls infertile: "The anti-vaccine movement has killed many people. It's frustrating. But we are working with the clerics. It is very hierarchical, so we can start at the top. In the next three years, we will either conquer polio, or we won't. It's a very important time."

The Covid crisis is a plot planned decades ago and enacted for political advantage to quash the people's choice to oppose this monsterous crime against humanity.
I coined a new term "ChemTrailsXflies" meaning chemtrail cross-flies or cross-fly overs bc the jets criss-cross flying over and over an area until the chemtrail merges with extant atmospheric moisture, forming fake toxic clouds.
These clouds can be staged to control weather patterns, a technique that has been weaponized by the military.
However, the sinister bastards doing this are still at the mercy of actual atmospheric conditions which must be within a certain range of measurements to begin to form fake clouds which can also merge with real clouds and become super thunderheads.

Ancient Treasures indeed, yet it seems like only yesterday when I traded in my Typewriter for a MAC, wow, what an amazing transition, truly an adventure into the unknown. But as you know, I love a good adventure and making the transition became one of the best moves I have ever made.
Yes of course, it was scary, I didn’t know where to begin, how do I turn this thing on. What’s a floppy, where does it go, what does it do, how do I use it. It was a whole new experience for me, I had so many questions and there was so much to learn.
There was no internet or on-line help where I could simply look up my questions and get instant answers, my only means was to study the manuals, pages and pages of information that appeared to be written in a foreign language. There was talk of RAM, ROM, bits, bytes, software, hardware, analog, digital, apples and windows, the list was endless.
Frankly, I love the computer era and feel fortunate to have become involved in its early stage of development and you know what, even after all these years, I still get excited each and every time I push the power-up button on my machine.
So please join me by saluting the genius of Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Bill Gates and all the other pioneers who truly transformed our way of life.
Thanks for a fantastic journey.
