Arriving at Dublin in connection with the visit of US President Bill Clinton

Former President Bill Clinton waves to the crowd following his speech inside Stewart Robertson Memorial Gym at Roseburg High School on May 13, 2008.
A country lane in Virginia, USA, October 1992 -- the height of the election season. Clinton & Gore was the winning ticket a few weeks after this. I recall being first in line on election day to cast my ballot for the winners. And since January 20, 1993, Inauguration Day, it's been all downhill. Have we hit bottom yet?
Yes, Trillion! Certainly, Alan Greenspan knew what "Bucket Shops" were. Greenspan worshiped Ayn Rand, the ultra-Libertarian, who believed in no government oversite of the economy.
In the final days of the Clinton administration (Clinton is #2 culprit), corrupt legislators pushed through the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000, which enabled Bucket Shops to open up on Wall Street.
A specific clause in The Act over-rides state laws against Bucket Shops. The Moneychangers on Wall Street fooled school districts, banks and retirement & mutual funds to buy these deriviatives. Lyndon Larouche warned about these criminally AAA-rated paper pigs almost as soon as the market took off in 2000.
IMO: the only solution is for Obama to recall and reissue currency. This will force the crooks who profit from drug deals and these Derivatives to prove how they obtained their $$$.
The "Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000" (H.R. 5660) was introduced in the House on December 14, 2000 by Rep. Thomas W. Ewing (R-IL) and cosponsored by Rep. Thomas J. Bliley, Jr. (R-VA) Rep. Larry Combest (R-TX) Rep. John J. LaFalce (D-NY) Rep. Jim Leach (R-IA) and never debated in the House.
The companion bill (S.3283) was introduced in the Senate on December 15, 2000 (The last day before Christmas holiday) by Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN) and cosponsored by Sen. Peter Fitzgerald (R-IL) Sen. Phil Gramm (R-TX) Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE) Sen. Thomas Harkin (D-IA) Sen. Tim Johnson (D-SD) and never debated in the Senate.

This video explains another aspect of the economic collapse: Hedge funds "Naked Short Selling" Bears Stearns & Lehman Bros. stock, which caused these two businesses to collapse.
CLINTON: I Was Wrong to Listen to Wrong Advice Against Regulating Derivatives.

UPDATE: In June 2013, film producer Charles Ferguson interviewed Bill Clinton who said he and Larry Summers couldn't change Alan Greenspan's mind and Congress then passed the Act with a veto-proof supermajority. Ferguson revealed that this was inaccurate and, he said, a lie, while commenting that he thought Clinton was "a really good actor". In fact, Ferguson wrote, the Clinton Administration and Larry Summers lobbied for the Act and joined Robert Rubin in both privately and publicly attacking advocates of regulation. Thanks to Pete Selfridge for giving me the opportunity to meet Bill Clinton.
As the sun sets in the Northern Florida sky, CSX Y103 shoves Georgia #300 into the siding at the north end of Yukon. Y103 would shove the historic car to its resting home in Orange Park, Florida with a variety of other passenger cars. The Georgia #300 has hosted/carried a number of Presidents including Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and the current President of the United States, Barack Obama.
When asked if he had ever smoked cannabis before Bill Clinton famously replied:
“When I was in England I experimented with marijuana a time or two, and I didn't like it. I didn't inhale.”
What a lovely bit of obscurification if ever I came across one. Firstly he says he was in a totally different country (and continent). Secondly that he didn’t just try it once but twice (you have to make sure you don’t like it) and then the clincher that he didn’t even inhale said illegal smoke.
Unlike Bill, Mary here always gives a paraphrase of his quote whenever she’s asked the same question but the difference is that she gives you a knowing wink at the same time. In fact, Mary has just turned her porch into a hotbox so that any guests to enter her house have to walk through a dense fog of wacky baccy smoke just to get in. She has some great parties. Or so I hear…
‘Inhale’ is an eminently frameable A4 in size and has been created using the magic of spray paint, stencils, letter stamps and imagination. Drop us a line if you need her in your life or she’ll be on our new website (www.id-iom.com) in due course.

2015 marks my 20th Anniversary as a photographer, so I decided to post something from back in the day when I was just getting started. Happy New Year, everybody! I hope that you all reach all of your goals and really enjoy the upcoming new year.
I got the opportunity to photograph Bill Clinton, a few years back. Weather was an issue that day with rain, wind and lightening all working against me. Politics aside, he was a great photo op.
I almost didn't buy this photograph. I didn't know what that "blob" was lurking at the top of the photo, and though I thought it was interesting that some unknown shape had taken over half the photograph, without knowing what it was, I just thought it was strange, but not compelling. I bet I picked the photo up four or five times and still hadn't figured it out (and when I had it in the pile (this photo comes from collegeboy14) I almost put it back in the box.) Still, at 20 cents per photo (collegeboy14 quoted some other interested collecter a price of "five for a dollar") I figured I couldn't really go too wrong buying this. The other collector, btw, got frustrated because I had gotten to the box of photos first. He did persist in looking at my discards, and did even buy a few. I hope I didn't leave anything too good.
It was only when I got back home, and happened to glance at the photo as it lay on its side, that I saw what the "blob" really was. I kind of am intrigued by the theory that the photographer had the camera on a self-timer, but I also like the idea that some aberrant "photo-bomber" charged up tot he shutter just at the moment of release and insinuated himself manaically into the scene.
