At Working Bikes in Chicago, donated and discarded bikes are disassembled and reusable parts segregated by type in the warehouse. Wayne spotted racks of colorful forks including this Aerorails aero dynamic fork.

Campagnolo Nuovo Record rear derailleur. This was early 1970s technology on racing bikes and this particular derailleur was made in 1983. It came into my hands when I was racing in the late 80’s and I used it for several years even though it was outdated and surpassed by Super Record and C Record.
in a far corner of this nature preserve, there's a section that's full of carefully curated odds & ends.
Another excellent discount find at the Velo-Orange Garage sale earlier this year. I was even specifically looking for this model and they happened to piece one together with random parts. The result gave me a non-standard 28T small cog which came in very handy last Sunday during the Halv Vasa ride for sure!
