After the last tiff with the Tripod Police, I had to reluctantly move to the other side of the Westminster Bridge. Apparently, you are not allowed to take pictures using a tripod on the london eye side, strange!
Here is a shot of the Big Ben at sunset as seen from the Westminster Passageway

Here is another one from London, I sanpped a few shots but there was no action until this bus came my way, the rain had stopped but I didn't realize there was a puddle of water on the road right in front of me. The spots you see are little water drops hitting my lens and myself ofcourse... www.edinchavez.com/blog/

A different take on a very familiar scene. Photographed at dusk with a DA 10-17mm fisheye. We were there as tourists, with my daughter taking snaps of the river and buildings for a school project.
This looked OK in colour with the evening lights - I could have HDR'd it like so many other views of Big Ben - but with all the roof-top architectural details I decided to go dark gothic.

How do you take one of the most photographed buildings on the planet? Stumbled across this fountain in the grounds of St Thomas' hospital across Westminster Bridge - I'm sure it wasn't there the last time I was in London.
A friend described the photo as semi-pornographic. I obviously have some friends with very warped minds!
