We had a good service at church this morning, and it was good to chat afterwards with various people. I wore my new T-shirt, but not the little elf headband hat with bells on, which goes with it - I was doing a reading at church, so didn't want to distract from that! There has been a return to the government rule about wearing face coverings in church this week, but as we hadn't stopped doing so yet, it didn't really affect us.
After lunch, I decided I could do with a walk, and Mike agreed to come to, so that was quite pleasant - only a couple of miles, but I feel I've been doing so little lately, I really appreciated it. Then I got stuck in to preparing various things for the last Toddler session of the year tomorrow, before watching the Strictly results show.
I was too busy at Toddler Group to take photos today, but it was an enjoyable session, concluding with singing carols (first verses only!) and giving out cards to everyone.
Lucas's cough is bad again, so he wasn't at Pre-School this morning. Bethan asked if one of us could go over and help for a little while in the afternoon, so I popped over for a bit, then James & Bryony visited, as it's James's birthday.
The view going out towards Aldsworth was lovely.
