The mono version of the image I posted a day or two ago. I agree - the mono works better. Thank you Dave Feaster.

A view of the Ben Nevis mountain range taken just outside Fort William in the Scottish Highlands

It always gives me a buzz to find a superb artwork that has just been completed, the aroma of the paint spray was still strong in the air!

This is a brilliant piece by Jimmy Dvate, the panoramic image is dramatic, but does not do the quality of his art justice, i'll follow this up with a more conventional wide angle image in the coming days.

It's also a bonus to 'get the shot' before the taggers can mutilate the art (as can be seen on the Bob Marley piece further down Hosier Lane)

In Scotland a mountain is called a Ben - this is Ben Lomond as seen from the River Leven in Dumbarton.

Ben Lomond, 974 metres, is a mountain in the Scottish Highlands. Situated on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond, it is the most southerly of the Munros. Ben Lomond lies within the Ben Lomond National Memorial Park and the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, property of the National Trust for Scotland.

My first time seeing Big Ben since the five year renovation project, its great to see if with the scaffolding off. Its looks stunning. This image is a composite where I have replaced the sky with a sky of my own.

I'm pretty sure this is Ben Nevis in the clouds

Ben drew this today and wanted me to scan it into the computer. He told me it's a Pokemon Monster. I really liked his selection of colors :)

Ben had to let loose today. I gave it a little bit of mono effect.

This image is Generated using Midjourney V8.1 software then i process in photoshop.

Prompt.

Cinematic wide-angle view of Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower) in London, United Kingdom, iconic Gothic Revival clock tower rising above the Houses of Parliament on the River Thames. Golden hour lighting reflecting off the river, dramatic sky with soft clouds, subtle mist in the air, ultra-detailed stonework showing Victorian engineering craftsmanship. Focus on the massive clock face with intricate golden detailing, realistic depth and scale, tourists and red double-decker buses for context. Photorealistic architectural photography, 8k, HDR, volumetric light, shallow atmospheric haze, long exposure feel, majestic and timeless mood, wide cinematic composition, no visible watermark, no signatures

So this is Ben. He is a typical border collie coming from a breed which only breeds working borders. SO normally his duty is to work with sheeps. But unfortunately he spend his first 2 years at a shepherd who treats him very bad. He hit him an put him to a small box in the basement. Because he was not able to work with sheeps the shepherd decided to kill him. Thanks to a women who should train him we found his story in the internet and decided to safe his life. The first 2 years with him were very hard, but now he learned much and is a fabulous dog.

Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles. Standing at 1,345 metres (4,411 ft) above sea level, it is at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands, close to the town of Fort William.

The mountain is a popular destination, attracting an estimated 100,000 ascents a year, around three-quarters of which use the Pony Track from Glen Nevis. The 700-metre (2,300 ft) cliffs of the north face are among the highest in Scotland, providing classic scrambles and rock climbs of all difficulties for climbers and mountaineers. They are also the principal locations in Scotland for ice climbing.

The summit, which is the collapsed dome of an ancient volcano, features the ruins of an observatory which was continuously staffed between 1883 and 1904. The meteorological data collected during this period are still important for understanding Scottish mountain weather. C. T. R. Wilson was inspired to invent the cloud chamber after a period spent working at the observatory.
