This juvenile female was on the cliffs just north of Jubilee. It flew several times, each time landing in a different spot.

Once it flew slightly out to sea, came back towards the cliffs, caught a Puffin within 15 seconds, then carried it out of sight. A couple of mi.nutes later it returned to perch on the cliff, minus the Puffin

This bird flew in from the sea, Linda's eagle eyes spotted it a long way out. Unfortunately it did not come close, so these are the best photos I got.

At the time I thought it was a Long-eared Owl, but on close examination of the photos it looks more like a Short-eared Owl.
