On my way last september to Norway I went with the Color Magic of the Color Line under this bridge over the Storebælt....The Storebælt Bro (The Great Belt Bridge). This 18 km long bridge across Storebælt (the Great Belt Bridge) links the eastern and western parts of Denmark together. Here for more Facts and history;-)

I was lucky that the sun was shining, so that I could try to make this also a golden one :-)

If you see closely at the stars in Orion's Belt this is what they look like

Well at least for me

A guy pulling a heart

How cool isn't that

Love is in the air :D

I obviously had a nice night walk in the moonshine this evening, except for Aiko pulling the leash every time I should shoot

No wonder there is a man in the moon, lol

Taken during a photo trip to College Lake, Tring (Hertfordshire). The structure is part of the conveyor belt used here in open-pit mining (chalk or limestone for cement making) up to the 1980s.

This is the buckle of an aging belt that I bought, well many years ago. I rarely wear another, and it’s pretty much a part of me! Coincidentally I took this not realising the theme for the MM EDC theme.

The history of the belt goes back to the Bronze Age, a period in prehistory from around 2100 BC to 750 BC. Both men and women wore unequal belts, made from a piece of leather and intended to keep clothing in place around the waist. A simple button is placed, quite different from the metal buckles that belts are equipped with today.

A few yard trimmers work the east bowl at the Belt Railway of Chicago's Clearing Yard, while a hump set works a cut in the far background.

Unfortunately, the weather was garbage for much of this trip, but it was still fun to visit a bunch of the vaunted Chicagoland hot spots.

Leather belt braids of strains of leather. Not real crazy but it is a little trying to buckle it after the Christmas snacks.

An SD40-2. A GP40, and two SD40’s wait for a signal at Belt Line Junction near Reading, Pennsylvania. Belt Line Junction is an “X”-shaped plant. The train seen here is on the main line from downtown Reading, while the tracks to the right are the Reading Belt Line. At the west (geographically north) end of the junction, the Blandon Low Grade to Allentown, diverges from the main line (now the R&N) to the anthracite regions.

A Norfolk Southern freight proceeds north on the IHB at LaGrange IL on 24 August 1990, dipping under the BN mainline, with C39-8 No. 8556 in the lead. The crewman leaning out of the trailing Geep has a packet of train orders to give me, and is about to fire a strike from 50 yards in a moving train, which I proceeded to drop, as he waved me off in disgust - hey with hands like these I took up photography instead of football for a reason!

Youngstown Belt is pulling empty coiled steel gons from their main customer in Warren Ohio. ClarkDietrich turns the coiled steel into building interior components. Some fans have dropped into this operation recently and found back-to-back geeps on both the Warren and Haselton jobs with one pair still being in the Ohio Central maroon and yellow.. I found a single long hood forward geep headed to Warren and a pair of long hood forward geeps manning the Haselton job. The single OC geep stayed in the yard. Sticking with the Warren job made for a good chase on the return to Brier Hill. The Youngstown Belt operates over a pieced-together collection of the spaghetti that is former Conrail track in the Youngstown Ohio area. This section is on the former Erie Lackawanna's Pymatuning cutoff.
