Cute story that goes with this image. My husband, 5 year old daughter and I went to a car show yesterday where they happened to be passing out balloons. They asked her which balloon she wanted and she said the pink one and she wanted writing on it. The lady asked her what she wanted it to say and she surprised us by answering "believe". I asked her if she wanted me to add a flower or heart and she said no add "in yourself". My heart just filled with pride and love for my girl, what a wonderful message she shared with everyone who saw her balloon. I had hoped to get a shot with it in the air but the helium escaped over night so we have a deflated subject.

I believe Allen Ginsberg said that every point of view is subjective. Well, it is. Of course there’s someone who might find our ideas moronic but there’s also someone who might find them genius and will get inspired. Negative is just so much easier to feel & believe.

Friday’s Food for thought…..
I found that it is easy to encourage and believe in others in their trials but often it is hard to believe in yourself. It is even harder when others have given up on you and there is no one in your corner to applaud your achievements. Not to mention past failures that seem to creep up to remind you of the last attempt that was no where near the mark you wanted. Here’s a couple of things that will help you believe more in you:
1. Forget yesterday’s failures. Dwelling in the past keeps you from living in the present which gives you no hope for the future.
2. Maximize the Moment – Give your task the best you got. At the end of the day if you can say you gave 100% of yourself then you will be satisfied.
3. Remember the best way to eat an elephant is one piece at a time. Don’t focus on taking out a giant problem all at one time. Some issues have to be worked out a piece at a time.
4. Learn to celebrate when you complete a goal. We get frustrated when no one recognizes our achievements not realizing that the person that should be celebrating is you. Even if it is a small goal celebrate it!

I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong.
I believe in kissing, hugging and loving.
I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls.

Macro Monday: Theme - Belief
Believe in yourself. I try to tell myself this all the time when it comes to my work. I am my own worst critic. This is the journal I featured for last week's theme, but from a different point of view. Inside I have pages filled with image transfers of my own photographs.

It's hard not knowing the right words to say to people who are struggling. A picture says a thousand words. Anyone going through a hard time, please know that things will turn your way soon. I really can't explain how much it hurts to be in pain, to suffer, to wake up in the morning and just want to cry. Whether you're struggling with minor things, or emotional breakdowns, or severe depression, whatever you are going through, there is hope! So every single one of you experiencing trouble, don't give up just yet! I love you all, dearly, you all inspire me and have helped me in many ways.
Believe in yourself.' Those 3 words are easy to say, but so hard to actually do.
