Taken by Susan's globetrotting Japanese teacher and photographer to the stars Hideaki Sakurai.

One day last week, I was stuck at the office until 6:30. This completely blew my plans of going to Milford to shoot, but I figured I had time to capture some roses at Boothe Park. Once again, I choose a day when they had sprayed pesticides and roped off the rose garden. I switched from the 105mm f/2.8 macro to my new favorite toy (70-300mm VR lens) to see what else I might find.

As I walked around the park, this squirrel caught my eye. Instead of running away, she stayed put, just watching me.

Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will.

It's going to be a while, but this will be the site of the Headquarters of the United States Institute of Peace, on the National Mall, in Washington DC.

It will be pretty.
