Beginning Middle End illustration collective was established by ten friends whilst at Falmouth University in 2012. During that year, they illustrated and hand-bound a weekly publication following a wordless narrative format consisting of three panels, aptly called Beginning Middle End.
Since graduating in 2013, five members of the collective have moved to Bristol and are working as freelance illustrators and designers: Lara Hawthorne, Harriet Lee-Merrion, Sophie Bass, Beatrice Forshall and Hugh Cowling. This exhibition will feature recent work from these illustrators as well as the books produced by the collective whilst at Falmouth.
This is the start of a series that I shot with some amazing people that I met for the first time and went with me in a photo walk from Rizal Park to Intramuros to Binondo Chinatown and finally to Quiapo. I found myself surrounded with amazing photographers who embrace the philosophy and artistry of photography in their lives. Kudos to Lomomanila!
During our ride around the island today this scenic overlook gave us a view of what looks to be the beginning of Waimea Canyon. So much beauty, so little time.

This is Larra's last night in her crib. I find myself both simultaneously excited and sad by this new venture. From her fragile entry into this world at only two pounds six ounces to the time we brought her home at four pounds five ounces to now at twenty-six pounds. The first night we got her home, Loren and I looked at her all bundled up in her crib and thought we should place her bathtub inside of her crib and she inside the bathtub. The crib was twenty times bigger than she was. She still has not made one attempt to climb out of the crib, only into it but we know that day will come and rather than tempt fate and find her splattered on the floor we have decided to go to a "big girl bed". Okay, that isn't the real reason. The real reason is that she has not been resting soundly and we made a promise to one another that we would not let little girlfriend sleep in our bed. I said to Loren the other day, "If Larra had her own bed and wasn't sleeping well, one of us could just climb into her bed. Wouldn't that be great?" Nice but again not the real, real reason. The truth...the honest truth....we hope that one of the dogs will decide that there is so much more room on Larra's bed, which will now be twenty times too big again, and will make that their preferred sleeping place of choice. Ahhh parenthood.

Photo session №2 after the Photo session for the contest "PhotoCity 2013". The theme was BEGINNING, so I was inspired to show a new beginning for a girl, leaving the old teenage style behind to become a young lady. After I got my photos for the contest I made myself some photos to show off my new dress in combination with one of my favorite pairs of shoes.
Signs of the festive season abound, how welcome they are and how dated and passé will they look in in say three weeks time?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGBie5pT9nw

Jordan Gibson
Jordan is my new beginning! I recently decided to start over because of a lot of doubt in my mind. I have had my ups and downs already in this new year, but i know now that nothing should stop me. So I decided that Jordan will be the beginning.

Jordan on the other hand is such a delight to shoot with! He is a very beautiful, kind, and funny person. I am go to be looking forward to all of our future shoots together!
Go check out his amazing work.
Tomorrow, the old year ends and the new year begins. That means the timing is perfect to dream.
Dream... so that it can come true.
A first attempt at astrophotography. Had to process the photo way more than I would have liked but still... Not unpleasant. I plan to do some more, hopefully under better conditions so that post processing will be minimal. Can you find the North Star?
Pre-kindergarten teacher Angelika Miles introduces a student to her classmates on the first day of the Army Child, Youth and School Services Strong Beginnings Program Sept. 8. Strong Beginnings is an Army Family Covenant program designed to prepare students for the transition to kindergarten. Skills taught meet Army early learning standards and include basic academic and classroom etiquette skills and focus on the social, emotional and physical development of children. Army CDCs in the States as well as worldwide were losing preschool children to civilian preschool programs or state-run preschool programs, so to counter that trend, the Army came up with Strong Beginnings to help parents prepare their children for school. The aesthetic formations of a swarm of illuminated quadcopters in the night sky above Linz caused a worldwide sensation and enthusiasm now nine years ago. But these Spaxels were only the beginning of a long journey to the future of the Ars Electronica Futurelab.
In The Art of Swarms, the sixth episode of the 25th Anniversary Series of the Ars Electronica Futurelab, Key Researcher and Artist Peter Holzkorn, will set out on the trail of that hidden structure behind this network of systems and reveals a wide range of possibilities for using them for future innovations. Here are some making of photos of its production with Deep Virtual in Deep Space 8K.
