A dedication to the one that holds my heart.

I couldn't sleep at night and played around a bit with the flash unit we bought for the company to take better real estate photos. Please give me your input on what I could do better, these were my very first encounters with flash units...

sunset marsh (and millions of midges) on Lake Michigan, Upper Peninsula, Michigan - May 17 2024

-notes-

It was a rare weekend alone and not without a few "are you kidding me" and "wtf" moments.

But when everything settled and it seemed like plans were actually going as planned for once, it was too late to do what I wanted.

So I did what I needed.

(A sedge of sandhill cranes flew past and made me laugh because it was giving Jurassic Park and it just goes to say John Williams was magical with his movie soundtracks in how memorable and evocative they are.)

First time visiting Milton and ended up on a church’s grounds to watch the sun set. Truly a magical thing to watch. The sun moving slowly down over the land, behind the clouds and caress the mountain ranges in the distance. Something I’ll probably never be able to forget this sunset.

I decided to revisit the photo's from my matlock trip and this is the one i decided to upload

"More than 4,200 Commonwealth graves are located here, of which 200 are unknown and 855 are Canadian, including seven pilots.

Also in the cemetery is the Cassino Memorial, unveiled in 1956, which commemorates the more than 4,000 Commonwealth war dead of the Sicilian and Italian campaigns who have no known grave. The names of 192 Canadians are inscribed on its 15-foot high slabs of green marble." -Veterans Affairs Canada
