Black and white is aces for newborn babies and is still suitable for older babies and young children - just mix up what you pop on the wall. A photo wall with a difference.
A big thank you for all the people who gave this picture such sweet comments and awards.
It was certainly a challenge to give the beautiful gown an effect of floating and drowning but I'm thrilled to see how so many love to see the end result.
Since so many are giving it a 'thumbs up' am I dropping the before and after version!
Last but not least , a warm hug for Rumour who found trust in my work <3
I was happily surprised to see all the love my bird Nicholas received and still is receiving from you all.
For that reason , and since real makes it harder for me to use PS in peace , did I think that another 'before and after' picture would be fitting.
I hope you all enjoy and well...he -has- elven ears but couldn't have them poking through the hoodie , could I?
Enjoy!!!!

I haven't taken Buster to the groomer in a long time, as you can tell, because I don't want to stress him out... but he needed this badly!!
He's half the dog he was...
At 15 years old, he now looks like a puppy again!
We still take him twice a week to the vet for fluids and shots for his kidneys... and thankfully he is holding on and still eats... even if his favorite meal is canned cat food!! My vet said let him eat whatever he wants!!
My groomer is a miracle worker!!!
Everyday with him is a gift!!
Unfortunately, I waited too long to crack my coconut.

Are you discontented? Have you been pushing hard?
Have you been throwing down this broken house of cards?

Another small look on a before and after picture of one of my creeps.
With my Wi-Fi unstable and more not working then yes did I really try to take my time on this one and with the trees announcing autumn's arrival is Halloween only crawling closer and closer..perfect time for my dear minion Creeps to wake up and creep over Flickr.
Laughs all evil like 'Buhahahahahahaaaaa!!!!' 😈
Anyways! I do like to share these before and after ones with you and certainly if I find that there is a big change in it. 😊
Plus I hope myself to inspire and encourage people in using photoshop ,daring to draw and play with it and just give it a shot.
All we need is the fantasy in our head...if it's soft and delicate, romantic and sweet ,colorful and rich or a horrifying scene to give other people the shivers...Just make that look, take a snapshot of a good size and quality and get that photoshop up and play!!!
I myself still have so much to learn but 'woot!!!' ,enjoying the times pictures I make! Most important thing ever!
Enjoy the Creeps!

This is how quickly great photo opportunities disappear...Here at CP 482 in Porter, Indiana, the westbound signal coming off the old Pere Marquette and surroundings have been completely upgraded, passing track removed, pot signal eliminated and old type relay box is gone.

Before and After HDR conversion. Note image is best VIEWED LARGE.
Note that the trees are more vivid and more tones are showing in the HDR conversion yet no contrast detail is lost. In fact there is just more detail. The sky is much more vivid and in this case the blues were backed off to grey.
Someone asked to see this before & after. I really didn't do too much to this one. I desaturated the color a bit and added a golden tone to it. Then, I added a texture overlay in deep blue tones and burned the edges. That's it!
After doing Annabel's before and afters I realized I never did them for Margarita! Eeek! So sorry Laura. With out further ado here is Miss Margarita before and after......
Her hair wasn't in too bad of shape. Just needed some light defrizzing. The biggest things was her missing plugs, lips needed repainting, and her crack.
... until we are going to fly to FLORIDA!!!! :D
After 6 years i get back to the states again!

The Seattle engineering department took the original photo, standing right on the edge of the railing in 1975.
The Seattle skyline has changed tremendously, in both height and depth. It's shocking how the Smith Tower still was such a prominent structure, while now it is a footnote, trapped between taller buildings and those uphill. This view's days are numbered, but hopefully the replacement will be walkable and have view corridors.
A trusted assistant took the photo, I wasn't leaning out the window while driving.
Check the comments for the "then" photo.
My last picture was a puzzle of layers in so many ways and also an attempt in trying out something new! I got myself in the playful mood to mess with clothing and to give the ground cracking area's. For me that means : Layers layers and another layer!
It's another before and after picture ( at least from the avi only ;) )
**Feel free to use the green pictures for a Pile Up , always curious to see what others make from it!!**
This example shows the in camera above that would have been the simple JPEG result if RAW was not used.
In fact had no processing been done then the result even in RAW would look like the above shot with a Nikon D300 and 24-70 F/2.8 lens.
No HDR here but rather just a simple RAW edit but done in Adobe LightRoom 2.3.
As you can see in the above shot the background sky is totally white and there is no detail at all. To fix this I used a simple gradient filter to step down the exposure in that region and being RAW the missing information could recovered. I then reduced some colour in the gradient with the desiderate tools where the gradient had introduced too much colour.
Note the above image has a hard contrast look which is fixed in the lower one to bring back details in the face.
The strong light on the right side on our pregnant Angela shows a bleached out right arm and dress area. This detail was brought back in using a simple exposure tool in LightRoom to reduce this area by about -1EV-2EV. Vibrance was picked up a bit and slightly sharpened.
The above shots uses Nikon Camera Standard settings where the bottom one was set for Camera Vivid to bring a little more out in the greens and to generally give the image a bit more kick.
I also used the LightRoom curve tools and where the waterfall is I increased contrast to give it more impact.
The same thing done in CS Photoshop not only would have taken much longer but also to edit this later would have needed me to save as a PSD file and some effort to find and locate the file again. It would have taken far more disk space as well.
In LightRomm I can go back, any time, to that file and make a small adjustment without having to edit a JPEG which brings in artefacts. It uses very little disk space compared to a PSD and keeps the RAW fully intact.
LightRoom, in RAW, is totally non destructive and all settings are kept ready to edit again and again later and you don't need to keep saving variations as a JPEG.
