I am experimenting with different pigments for staining cotton string to use as a whipped handle on my bottle opener design. This pigment is from Beetroot. It stains the string a soft pink. My mother saw what I was doing and added the comment "my poor bloody beetroot."
This is for a new limited edition batch of openers for people who are environmentally concous or are vegan of sorts. If you dont like the feel of stainless steel on your hands, then these are for you.
Pachadi is one of the dish in onam sadya. Pachadi can be made with many type of vegetables like bitter gourd, tomato, cucumber, pumpkin, ash gourd, raw papaya, etc. Now some fruits are also used for making pachadi like pineapple, pomegranate, grapes etc. Usually sadya is made during Onam or any other festivals or celebrations.
