Finn was a bit of a challenge since I wanted him to be scaled a bit smaller than Bubblegum and Marceline, but there aren't many options for small boys. I planned on going with a full Licca, but happened upon a Pure Neemo boy body with a Licca head! Perfect. I repainted him, cut his hair and made his hat, backpack and socks. (The sword is a stylus from the DS game). B-MO came with the Jake figure.
I bought some stuff from a friend, including Operetta's jacket, and was pleasantly surprised to find Robecca's old-timey iCoffin player in the package as well! I reckon it's one of the coolest accessories they've put out so far.
Of course, Robecca's accessories generally have tons of detail but never enough paint. I had a bit of fun painting some of her things today. I put a bit of silver and black paint on her belt and wristwatch, a light brushing of black paint on the speaker on her victrola, and some black, silver and white paint on her tank-tread boots.
At some point I think I might put a bit of paint on her body too, to make the rivets and such stand out more.

The whole treehouse diorama. It's big and ridiculous. I am hoping to also use it to be their bedroom becuase I really want to make that pile of furs for Finn and the armoire Jake sleeps in.
The loveable BMO (Beemo) living video game console character from Adventure Time made out of lego. This is a fully functional portable Raspberry Pi Linux computer. This means it can do pretty much anything you can think of. Plays video, plays games, surfs the web, and more! Of course it cannot make toast, or skateboard like the real BMO...

The recent changes to Flickr have brought negativity from some photographers towards Yahoo!, and I understand that. Honestly, I really do. But I have many reasons to be grateful to Yahoo!
Last year the Yahoo! Profiles team selected my Textured Rainbokeh photo as one of the default backgrounds for their service. That was very nice of them.
A few months ago the Yahoo! Weather app team used one of my cloud photos to visualize the weather here in Austin, Texas. Neat!
And a few weeks ago a team at Yahoo! Studios invited me to New York City to be interviewed about my photography on Flickr. The result of that session, a video profiling me, has been posted to the Flickr Blog and to The Weekly Flickr today.
I would like to thank Yahoo! for celebrating my silly little corner of Flickr. It is appreciated.

The girls and I love Adventure Time! What a cool show. I found a cool AT poster for the girls' room the other day. They were quite surprised when they came home from school and walked in to their room and there it was on the wall.
In case you're not in the know, this is BMO, or "Beemo", who is a robotic video game console. S/he is also a friend of the main characters, Finn and Jake.

One of my very favorite things about Adventure Time is Marceline and Bubblegum's wardrobes! It is why I wanted dolls of them in the first place. I've goteen... erm, carried away. :P
Latest creation from Adventure Time series, it incorporates a large angular powered up motor and bluetooth HUB.

I usually do PIXAR Builds but I really wanted to create a unique piece of art for an underrated Adventure Time character. Although he's not fully completed, this is going to be a real working replica of Beemo from Cartoon Network's series Adventure Time. I made the box out of plexiglass, the arms and legs out of felt sewn together, and the buttons are cast molds of various Nintendo gaming systems. I'm also rewiring a Game Boy Color system into him so he'll be able to play real Nintendo brand games when I'm done.

Earning herself an eternity of girlfriend points, my friend Kim recently constructed a fully functional Adventure Time Monopoly set for Colin, complete with 3D playing pieces. It took us an entire evening to fit the board together and make six of these little characters, so I can’t imagine the ungodly length of time she invested in making the entire thing. Alas, in my eagerness to play Lumpy Space Princess and own the whole of Lumpy Space, I ended up bankrupting myself in the process, and was the first player out of the game.
