When I saw her at Planten un Blomen, a lovely park in central Hamburg, posing so nicely on a rock at a small pond, I knew I had to take her photo. Isn't she pretty? I could swear that she was smiling at me :)

I think this is a bloom on a Bauhinia Tree.

what a weekend! my internet modem went on the fritz on saturday afternoon - from one second to the other. a short, i guess… so, i had no internet access anymore. can you imagine how strange this feeling was? ;)
