My country is known around the world as the land with no trees. But most people now know that we do in fact have some trees in Reykjavik.
I love trees and recently I discovered Leonardo da Vinci's "rule" for tree growth. What it says in his notebook: "All the branches of a tree at every stage of its height when put together are equal in thickness to the trunk." It means if a tree’s branches were folded together upward the tree would look like one trunk with the same thickness from top to bottom.
I do think that Leonardo's "rule" is an amazing thing.
