Such a sky and such a magical atmosphere was not to be expected that evening. Before that it had rained and sunlight was a long way off. We waited and waited and eventually got rewarded. A dreamlike scenery opened up and an enchanting light transformed the coast into an unforgettable moment.

At twilight time , whistling winds often sweep up stones and sand to give out a hauntingly shrill sound .
Yesterday I was again at my favorite place on the Moselle because I expected the sunrise, good light and a little mist. Everything was fulfilled only when the ascending fog slightly concealed the sun, creating a mystical mood.
Gestern war ich wieder an meiner bevorzugten Stelle an der Mosel, weil ich den Sonnenaufgang, gutes Licht und ein wenig Nebel erwartete. Alles erfüllte sich erst, als aufsteigender Nebel die Sonne leicht verdeckte und dadurch eine mystische Stimmung erzeugte.

Walking alongside and see many sights.
The Loire is the longest river in France and the 171st longest in the world. It is also the third longest river in Europe, after the Danube and the Volga. With a length of 1,006 kilometres, more than a fifth of France's land, while its average discharge is only half that of the Rhône.
We visited St Raphael on the Riviera yesterday for a very long lunch with old friends of my partner. On the way and not too far from where we live we drove through a huge field crammed full of poppies. We went back there this morning so I could take a few snaps. This is one of them. The land was flat and it was difficult to capture the full majesty of the acres of red poppies. Perhaps they're better just viewed from the confines of a passing car and left at that?!

During the sunset, many tourists were here at the lighthouse, fighting for the best spots for a perfect photo. Half an hour later, calm returns and it is possible to enjoy this beautiful place.
I probably can go on for one year posting flowers from my trip, last week. This immense flowerbed was a welcome change to all the tulip fields in the North East Polder.

The end of the Coalport canal. There is an inclined plane under the arch bridge, where materials were lowered to the canal, that fed the Coalport China works. The China works is now a museum. With Ironbridge and Blist Hill within a couple of miles, it is well worth
a visit.

Siento humedad brumal en tronco y hojas,
tiritando verdes al amanecer,

luz divina, sublimes flechas rojas.
Sombras cristalinas arrullo, al mecer
aterida hierba entre blancos mantos,
horizontes nublados bostezan cantos,
negras montañas duermen sin conocer
cómo vislumbro soplar a los vientos,
que expulsan brillante escarcha con fuego,
sinfonía de gorjeos a cientos,
vaivén de plumas danzan bajo el riego,
ajenas al hombre que las destruye.

The history of Sveti Stefan Island goes back to the 15th century. It was used to prevent attacks on Budva in the 15th century. It reminds completely of Venice with its streets, cobblestones and old roofed houses. About 400 Venetians lived in the 19th century, and then the Venetian people immigrated. After the 1950s, fishermen lived and later, when the beauty of the island was noticed, world famous names started to come here and facilities were established. The fishermen’s houses here were restored and many luxury hotels were built. The island was also awarded in 1972 as one of the most attractive destinations for tourists.
