Taken with the Nikon Z 8 w/ Nikkor Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S w/ Z TC-1.4X teleconverter. As you can see it's a fabulous lens, and so light weight I miss it already. However I actually don't think it's that much better than my NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR w/ Z TC-1.4X teleconverter.
The weight factor is a big deal at just over 3 lbs. But even at only 3 lbs. it's still to heavy for an 81 year old fellow that has been beating the stuffings out of myself my whole life.
With, count em' 2 torn rotator cuffs. And if I have to go through that much pain to left my camera and lens, it's hardly anything compared to the pain I've been going through thinking about the pain and suffering I have to endure parting with nearly 5 grand, now that's real pain. If had unlimited funds, I'd keep it in a heart beat.

(Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Atlantic puffin-Fratercula arctica
Puffins are any of three small species of alcids (auks) in the bird genus Fratercula with a brightly coloured beak during the breeding season. These are pelagic seabirds that feed primarily by diving in the water. They breed in large colonies on coastal cliffs or offshore islands, nesting in crevices among rocks or in burrows in the soil. Two species, the tufted puffin and horned puffin, are found in the North Pacific Ocean, while the Atlantic puffin is found in the North Atlantic Ocean.
All puffin species have predominantly black or black and white plumage, a stocky build, and large beaks. They shed the colourful outer parts of their bills after the breeding season, leaving a smaller and duller beak. Their short wings are adapted for swimming with a flying technique under water. In the air, they beat their wings rapidly (up to 400 times per minute) in swift flight, often flying low over the ocean's surface.
A significant decline in numbers of puffins on Shetland is worrying scientists.

I'm excited to reveal a new collaboration with my good friend Cameron Bushong. We've decided to not only work on a series of images together but we've added another element, the element of writing. Each image will be inspired by (or inspire) a poem that we've written based on a certain theme or subject, this first subject is Heartbeat. You can check out Cameron's image on his photostream!
This theme couldn't have come at a better time, a time when I feel my heart is strong and pushing me to find what I really want in my life. It knows where I should go, it's just convincing the rest of my body to follow.
