Pie is wearing a hand knitted beanie that I made from yarn that I spun from New Zealand possum and merino fibers, and dyed in some autumn-pastel colors :)

Beanie, male Pomeranian / Chihuahua, 7 months, and Daisy, female Papillon, 3 months. Balmy Beach, Toronto.
Bavaria crochet, first attempt. Its a free pattern from Sarah London.
I used our famous Dutch Wibra yarn Fenna. Hook 4. I used about 120 grams.

Hey guys, here I am with the pics I promised for 3 days now of mister Pierre and Lukas
I'll upload the shoot later but I start already with just a little thing which is a beanie, I didn't really know how to do that and the tutorials I saw online didin't really helped me so I did one by myself with the top part of an old (clean ;D) sock and it end up looking so great on Lukas
When I had the idea of a beanie I wanted to sew one for Pierre cause as you probably all noticed his hair is kept in place with an elastic as I removed his gel and sometimes it's annoying so I wanted to replace it with a beanie but finally it wasn't really looking as sexy as it looks on Lukas so I end up giving it to Lukas and I'm really please with how "bad boy" he looks now :D
That's weird how a simple beanie can change a nice guy into a bad boy lol

This is Katherine. She was born last week, and like all proud papa's I had a camera ready! This shot is from when she was just a day old. The hat we brought was a little bit bigger than her head so she could easily slide around in it. While she was napping, my wife noticed that she kept swinging her neck back to bring the hat down over her face. I pulled it back and she slid it right back down. After 3 or 4 times, I figured I needed a picture...
Lighting:
I grabbed one of my Canon 580EXII flashes with a Stofen and a PWII and rested them on pillows on one of the hospital beds to the side and then threw the white sheet over it to improvise a large, soft light source (couldn't bring ALL my lighting gear to the hospital). I forget what power the flash was set too.

Okay, I admit, I'm just showing off my new beanie and it probably won't be the most exciting photo you will see on Flickr today. ;) I like to browse through the Clymb's website from time to time and when I saw this beanie, I had to have it.... :D
If you're interested in the lighting info, a house light from the top, and a continuous studio light from the front through a white umbrella was used to light the subject.
I skipped homework to bring this shot to you! ha ha.... :D
Any constructive criticisms or thoughts are welcomed. I don't require praise only (although I'm not against that either), but I do like to know your honest thoughts... that goes for all my work.
