hard to say these days...stuck at home, only bad news from the media…troubles after troubles ...it's hard to be positive but we have to try! stay safe and...smile like a zebra!
……Life is a fine balance - just ticking over at the moment so giving us time to reflect on the past, think about the future and not dwelling too long on the present! I’m delighted to say this time piece was ticking nicely whilst under the spotlight!! And I smile and admire it each and every morning when it gets lovingly wound up to tick another day long. With this shot I chose to focus on the distorted reflection in the open back rather than the real mechanism. Have a great Saturday, smile and stay cosy & locked down to stay safe and to keep EVERYONE else safe too! I went out looking for a Positive shot, many frames I saw, then I saw this yard decorated for Easter, I thought what other symbol has had such an impact, it is either positive or it is negative, not many stay neutral on this. As I was taking the shot, I was thinking the universal sign in electronic for positive is the plus sign, the plus is for addition, so this is my Flickr Friday Be Positive shot.

According to the current theme, group members were supposed to take a photo which reflected being positive. Even though it was sunny when the photo was taken, I must say it hailed 2 hours later.

Right now it might seem like there are only Rocky Shores, Turbulent Seas and Dark Clouds in our future, but if you look hard enough, and know what focus on, you’ll see those dark clouds have a Silver lining and there is Sunshine coming our way.
For Flickr Friday group. This weeks theme, "Be Positive."
Tough coming up with something this week. Lots of 'first ideas' were already used in the group. I guess people (myself included) instantly thought of batteries and blood.
Not exactly the picture I'd planned, (which involved quicksand) but by the time an idea started to form it was way too late to realise it as a picture.
Here I'm using plastic as a kind of metaphor for the quicksand I didn't have. I'm trying to say that despite the fact we seem to be drowning in and at the same time choking the oceans with plastic, if we act we should be positive and maybe it's not too late to turn things around.
Red is the color of the positive inputs for speaker wires.
