Long exposure pano shot of the eastern seafront from Richmond corner to the lighthouse on the castle breakwater

Last light at Ruby Bay, looking out to Elie Ness, with the Bass Rock and East Lothian in the distance.

Geschafft - die Aussicht wäre mehr als Belohnung doch das Wetter macht leider nicht mit :-( so viele Schiffe...

Two Morecambe Bay Shrimpers sat in the evening light.

Wellingtons were a must as I tramped carefully amongst the shallow puddles and muddy silt. I must confess I also used my old Aluminium tripod, rather than subject the carbon fibre to the briny mud at this location,

The light was quite harsh, but made a great job of highlighting these weathered vessels.

landing, coming right at me...is it any wonder we love being out there, always a surprise, always a smile to be had..`~~~..the sun was waining but you can just see a touch of green on the forehead...

The last light of day on Elliott Bay, Seattle, Washington.

Bulb long exposure into the late evening on the Chesapeake Bay.

Before sunset on the mud.

Thornwick Bay derives it's name from "Thor" the God of Thunder because of the roar of the breaking waves on the rocks during a North Easterly gale which pounds the magnificent cliffs

At Rest Bay, Porthcowl, Wales, UK

Was up at the Campbeltown malts festival last week, 3 days of drinking whisky from the cask meant little time for any photography. We were staying at Loch Sween in between which afforded some time for shots. This was a long exposure at Kilmory Bay looking out over to Kilberry. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I dusted down my filters and took some shots of a local beach - Mumbles Lighthouse in the background is a local landmark and is still a working lighthouse although now automated

Welcome to Pancake Bay, it is an Ontario Provincial Park located in a sheltered south-facing bay on the eastern shore of Lake Superior north of Sault Ste. Marie, it was made a park in 1968 to preserve the unique dune ecology on this part of Lake Superior. The beach is a 5.5-kilometre fine sand stretch that lines the shores of which almost 3.5 km are within the park environs and a favorite for the adventurous looking for a relaxed but isolated summer beach vacation in Northern Ontario. Its an interesting place to take in and should be a stop to anyone passing by, especially for those that have no experience with the ocean as this monstrous lake produces almost everything that you have with an ocean but tides and salt.

I took this on Sept 25th, 2021 with my D850 and Tamron 24-70 f2.8 G2 Lens at 32mm, 1/20s, f16 ISO 64 processed in LR, PS +Topaz ,and DXO

As I got to Port Quin a whole new stretch of coast opens up for me to tackle before getting to the Camel estuary, my end point for the day

Well today I thought I'd intercept my uploads from my recent trip to the Faroe Islands by instead sharing an image from this morning at Ullswater in the Lake District.

With the forecast for a possibility of mist I thought I'd head down to the Lakes, and sure enough as I was driving down the motorway I hit a blanket of fog near Penrith. I decided to venture along a section of Ullswater that I'd never explored before, from Pooley Bridge along the eastern shore.

It was a wonderfully serene morning, with hardly a breath of wind. There are a few photogenic trees along this path which forms part of the circular Ullswater Way trail. There were also some boats moored along the lake which looked lovely emerging from the mist.

New round for anthem this month! Loving the boho theme so much
