Subject: Into the Reflection
Restriction: the portrait must appear in a reflection of some sort, but the reflection should be dominant.
I would say the reflection is pretty dominant here...
Originally I wanted the person in the front out of focus, but that didn't look too good, as it is important nevertheless and since my maximum apperture was not sufficient to give a nice homogen blur. So I went for "relative" sharpness all over.
What it took: One evening of shooting with a suitcase full of requisites and one evening of torturing my computer with 14 full resolution images and massive masking.
Sinister much?
Non purist activity includes using armatures to allow Friends mini-dolls to be more posable, and custom screen prints on the torso, hip and head parts.
I don't think Friends heads are available in Vantablack either ;)
