Another view of the famous Pulteney Bridge in Bath. It was completed by 1774 and connected the city with the newly built Georgian town of Bathwick, which is to the right of the picture. Designed by Robert Adam in a Palladian style, the bridge is exceptional in having shops built across its full span on both sides. It has been designated as a Grade I listed-building.
Like so many of the streets in Bath, the facade is beautifully designed but the other side of the bridge is a mish-mash, with individual property owners left to complete their part of the buildings on the bridge as best they could. This architecture, described as "Queen Anne fronts and Mary-Anne backs", occurs repeatedly in Bath.

The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, commonly known as Bath Abbey, is a parish church of the Church of England and former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England. It is one of the largest examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the West Country. The medieval abbey church served as a sometime cathedral of a bishop. The church architecture is cruciform in plan and can seat up to 1,200 patrons. An active place of worship, it also hosts civic ceremonies, concerts and lectures. There is a heritage museum in the cellars. The abbey is a Grade I listed building, particularly noted for its fan vaulting. It contains war memorials for the local population and monuments to several notable people, in the form of wall and floor plaques and commemorative stained glass. The church has two organs and a peal of ten bells. The west front includes sculptures of angels climbing to heaven on two stone ladders, representing Jacob's Ladder.

I was attracted by excited chirping of birds in the trees and I noted this Rainbow Lorikeet ( Trichoglossus Molacannus ) is waiting for its turn to jump into this " natural bird bath " in a tree hole.
As soon as those who had their bath flew off. More Lorikeets arrived and take turn to jump into the bath. Taken at the Adelaide Botanical Gardens.

This location opened in 2005 (originally located here) and was renovated in the mid 2010s; it was originally part of a Victoria's Secret, which opened on October 24th, 1989 and relocated here in 2005. During the mid 2010s renovation the left half of the store became a White Barn.
Bathed In Light
I posted an image from this very spot last week before sunrise, this is the other extreme, with the snow covered Black Mount range bathed in the first warm light of morning.
I think I still prefer the clean white snow of the previous image but this does give the more usual look from Lochan na h-Achlaise at sunrise.

Bath is a world heritage city such a cool city to visit this place has the most out of this would architecture and is so well preserved.
I walked along the canal path trying to find a location after a few test shots i had found my composition.
The tripod was setup on the railing and i used a Lee soft GND 0.9 filter for the sky and a Lee big stopper for the water and cloud movement.
