Trujillo.. what can I say about Trujillo?
This place is probably as real as it gets homie.. real deal.. recently awarded the "Top of the Cocaine manufacturing" food chain.
Probably some of the hardest shit Ive seen in a while just rolling round there.. Im putting together a Peru video so youll see the outcome later.. for now youll have to take my word on it.
ALL of the streets my bredren were unpaved.. ALL.. well.. maybe a stretch of 3 miles that surround the plaza that represents Trujillo..
In the nightime NON STOP gunfire.. kinda like a small war going on in the distance.. The hotel I was in was absolutely fresh though... for real.. the fair maidens from the magical race known as the Peruvians made up my quarters like a small rebel force of cleaning ninjas.. then homie, they took my towels and twisted them shits up like a gang of white wet blunts and made em into a shape of a begging dog holding my bathsoap.. TRUEMUTHAFUCKINSTORY... a goddamn pinche perro sitting on my bed like "te gusta con tus huevos in la picina?"
I said word little doggie made from wet cocaine blunts, word.. I do.
The people in Trujillo were cool as shit.. on everything.. cool.. and non fiction.. the food was bombay.. and fine little trim EVERYWHERE.. though I couldnt partake I did take in the view.
Now this piece was another matter..
this piece I did before that yellow and blue one earlier.. KID.. I approached this one knowing full well that I was painting with piss from a man who was diagnosed with bleeding urine from a ruptured spleen due to a kick from a Peruvian dude over sweatpants money.. type shit.
for real, like painting with spit from Lil B after he got molly wopped in that interview(love that shit)
like painting with windex that got some Gatorade cocaine sprinkled in it lightly..
like painting with Drakes blood... yes that thick..
So I worked light to dark, naturally.. the red and the dark brown had to be separated because the paint "aint got it covered".. so I did the bright red last.. man.. that was a DRAKE.. oh I mean a Bitch.
and its all done in stockcaps.. which not for nothing ARE DOPE out there.. weird right?.. kinda like stock tips on the female American Accents that are in Holmes Depot here.. the stockcaps can be kinda good.. thats how it was.
and my color palette was limited for sure.. so I just kept it simple.. and if you look at the walls texture you know I was pretty much painting on one of Seal's cheeks

so yea.. I really liked Trujillo
one of the realest places Ive been in the world.. and I thought ATL was bad at night.
Well, the lovely little cup cakes are maybe not so yummy ... they are actually little bath soaps, so not something you would want to eat!!

The ships on the trade card probably depict battleships used during the Spanish-American War, which began in 1898.
Well, I'm not going for a bath just now but my wife will no doubt do so later this evening!! These little "roses" are actually soaps for her bath ~ nice and smelly!

A fine full page advert issued by Elizabeth Arden, manufacturers of toiletries and cosmetics, of London and that is reproduced in Modern Publicity in War, published in 1941. The advert is illustrated by Francis Marshall and the campaign was coordinated by the agency of Colman, Prentis & Varley. It is topically wartime showing that even though you volunteered or worked in a support service "in uniform" you could still enough the luxury of a fine soap that 'lasted'.
Elizabeth Arden was founded in New York by Miss Elizabeth Arden in 1910 and grew to be a worldwide brand. In later years they were owned, for a time, by Unilever before being sold on again.
Well, I don't believe either of these would be tasty ... these are very odd bath soaps but if you didn't know you might just be tempted!!
