Ah, the infamous Karcher rooftop, where last time some rogue yellowjackets forced me into a game of chicken.
Also happy to report that the "Batsignal" remains unmolested. In its hotel days, the beacon was aimed at the lake - and train station - to help travelers coming from Chicago find the hotel.

Had a nice meal with Mel's D&D friends in a new Indian restraunt in town, with the annoyance of a very rude woman at the next table.
We also had a trip up to campus, to return a DVD and saw this on the way down. We assume it is crap advertising for Spiderman 3, might be better for Batman really.

The cityscape I love too. I wanted smaller windows (and more of them) on the buildings but I couldn't find a cutter smaller than the one I used.
What you are looking at here is a Hello Kitty-shaped flashlight/laser pointer being beamed onto my computer in my pitchblack room. I bought this tonight at the Maul. I had just given myself a stern talking to about buying so much junk, but I have been looking for a small flashlight for my purse so I can see my keys at night. This one just happens to be Hello Kitty-shaped, that's all... ;P
(and if, as a bonus, I can use it like a Batsignal to call down more Hello Kitty stuff, so much the better!)
