Slightly edited shot of people outside the Tuschinski Cinema in Amsterdam reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Sony HX1. No editing besides some added contrast and saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)

I am madly in love with the building that houses the Tuschinski Cinema in Amsterdam, it looks so wicked and beautiful that it makes me want to climb on top of it and search for Super-Villains to fight, which is probably what I'll do once I'm done with my transformation! I think if you squint your eyes and look to the top of the building, you can actually see Batman and Robin hanging out up there, waiting for the Batsignal to shine through the thick fog that is still holding the best city in the world in its greyish grip, but as soon as I'm ready to take over defending my home town from all the lawless elements, I might have to kick them off the Tuschinski and ask them nicely to find some other place for their crime-fighting needs, hahaha :D

The REAL OWS Bat signal.

"He left us...a signal!" (Pause)

"Damned if we can figure out what the hell it means though...."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, I know what it means! It means I noticed that if you rendered my 'Spaceboard' drawing in black and yellowed up the background, it looks like a weird variant on a certain Caped Crusader's iconic logo. Play, with a sense of Art!

Rainforest Action Network projects "Keep Washington Beautiful No Coal Exports" on a Bank of America branch in Seattle, Washington Sept. 14, 2011.

During the 100th American Association of Port Authorities convention, Rainforest Action Network roamed the streets of Seattle, Washington with a guerrilla projection team. RAN activists shone a massive Batsignal-like light on iconic Seattle locations to elevate the profile of controversial coal ports in the Pacific Northwest. Coal companies like Peabody Energy and Arch Coal, financed by Bank of America, plan to build export terminals along the Washington coast to ship coal to overseas markets. Local residents and environmental advocates are doing everything in their power to stop these dirty coal ports in their tracks. Salt Lake Casts a Light on TPP

First, THIS IS NOT A TRICK PHOTO. And, just to help illustrate that I left this photo 100% SOOC. It hasn't been edited at all: not even any cropping, rotating, exposure or levels. View On Black

So yes, this is another photo from my apartment, but this one is really special! A couple of nights ago I saw that there was one of those huge spotlights pointed toward the sky coming from somewhere near the Seattle center- I went to take a couple of photos of it, and I had my camera zoomed in on it a little bit more so that the moon wasn't in the frame. I took a couple photos like that, and when I finally looked up from my camera, I had noticed that the moon had moved and was almost in position right over the light!! I was amazed! (and at the same time a little disappointed I didn't see it coming) So, I tried to work quickly to get my camera set up exactly how I wanted it to snap the photo. I only had about 60 seconds of working time here before the moon had passed over it- so I got 2 photos and this is the better of the two. If you look at the top right of the photo, you'll see a plane trail as well- I had seen this plane coming and had wanted to get it in the whole frame, but I spent a bit too long screwing with changing the ISO to 100 before I decided I should just leave it alone and take it at 200 since I had already gotten a good exposure with that. There's a tad bit of motion blur in the pic, but it still looks really good.

The buy-it-by-the-brick figure done for Wizkids Brave and the Bold Expansion. Not my choice on the pose/design of this one. They wanted Catwoman laying on a wall originally, I wanted her crouched at his feet but I suggested the Batsignal to try something different.

Amazing cupcakes that Alicia made to celebrate our midnight viewing of The Dark Knight.

They are saying that the filming is for a movie called "Rory's First Kiss". With gun battles and a helicopter scene.
