Holmdel First Aid Squad two day Basic Extrication Class. Day1 was in the classroom explaining our objects and the tools used. Day 2 was tool time. 15 members learned about vehicle stabilization and got hands on experience extracting a patient from a wrecked vehicle. Both pneumatic tools and battery operated tools were used including cutters, spreaders, and combi-tools. Three groups of 5 members each worked on 3 different vehicles. After lunch we divided into 2 groups that worked on two larger SUV vehicles that were on their side.

After 81 days of training, 32 Defenders earned their right into the career field . The class finished their time in training completing an 8 day FTX that was vigorous and challenging. Maj. Gen.
