Wally is just about back to 100%. This is him playing tug-of-war. He just loves squeaky toys, so we brought him one to play with during our visit today. His heart rate is back to normal and there's a great chance he'll get to come home tomorrow. The doctor will conduct one final blood test to make sure he gets the OK to go home. We truly appreciate all the warm thoughts, well wishes and prayers! We can't even thank you all enough. Our hearts are full of gratitude. <3

Every month we get what is called a BarkBox which contain toys and treats and the puppies go crazy over it. This one had a beef loaded treat in it but it was also a little greasy and I decided to not let her have it other that to see how she would react.

Toys. Yes, Wally would be thankful for toys. He just loves tearing them up and taking all the stuffing out. This shot shows the calm before the storm. The shark toy was actually one of his presents from his birthday in August, but we just gave it to him now. It's time to give payback to the shark. The BarkBox came today! Jasper gets excited about the toys and Jackson wants to eat all the treats at once. Lest you think the cats are left out, they enjoy the box, itself. Apparently there IS such a thing as MeowBox, but I’m satisfied with one box that delights all our animals.

Doggy's delights -- treats and toys -- are boxed up and sent monthly to dogs to bark about. Well, this surprise BarkBox arrived in the mail today as a New Years present from Maddy. You remember Miss Maddy, my Westie Terrier girlfriend, and how she and I played all day as pups? She gave me a subscription to BarkBox! Thank you sweet Maddy!

Wally spending some hard time to reflect on what he did. While we were away from home, he managed to ingest over 10 oz of dark chocolate, which is a really huge amount for a dog his size. We induced vomiting right away using hydrogen peroxide and he was able to chuck up a good amount of the chocolate. We then rushed him to the animal hospital. So now he's given an IV and is being monitored overnight. We're hoping and praying our poor pup recovers quickly. He didn't really show any severe symptoms of chocolate poisoning, but we're glad he is now being closely monitored at the hospital.
