Cross Plains State Park, Wisconsin. Many years ago in early May, the entire north prairie of the park was carpeted with this wildflower.
Very nice place to dine and enjoy an adult beverage. Good food, drink and service when we visited. This a wider view than the previous photo. I spent a lot of time trying to get this result. I hope that you like it.

At the marina. Perfect walking weather today especially with a sea breeze. A City of Berkeley park. Just over the hill, views of the greater bay.
It's hard to believe, but this beautiful park was constructed atop a sealed landfill. The park opened in 1991. See the link below for details....read all the way through for a good story.

I saw a demo of how to do this while at Focus On Imaging earlier this month and though I would give it a try. They used studio lighting that was sure to cost an arm and a leg. I went for the low cost option, Heath Robinson approach. A glass coffee table, black background, white card and translucent zipdisc from Calumet. Two flashguns, one with a Rogue 3-1 Honeycomb Grid to light up the logos. Finally cleaning up the image and adding some star effects in PhotoShop.
The hard part is getting the lighting right, its not perfect I know. But I'm pleased with what I managed.
Please don't worry, as nothing was wasted. Have a good week everyone, take care.

Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got.
Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
and they're always glad you came.
You wanna be where you can see,
our troubles are all the same
You wanna be where everybody knows your name.

For this bowling center, I-5 Design and Manufacture created a bar and lounge rendering that was designed using state-of-the-art 3D software. The over all theme for this venue is modern, while still providing customers with a warm and inviting atmosphere. To add visual interest to this area, metal bead curtains were suspended from the ceiling and illuminated with LED down-lighting that incorporates color changing capabilities. The open bar area inside the Taj Lake Palace hotel. These are comfortable cane chairs with cushions, spotless white and a couple of trees. There is an open area in front of these chairs, meant for dance and cultural performances. The Lake Palace hotel is one of the most famous hotels in India. Located in the middle of the Lake Pichola in the lake city of Udaipur, the hotel, with its white structure, has a striking look. The hotel occupies most of the island on which the hotel stands, so it looks like the hotel is emerging from the waters of the lake. It is a 5 star luxury hotel, that converts a former royal summer palace into a heritage hotel.
The structure was built in the 1746 by the Maharana Jagat Singh II of the Mewar dynasty, built as a summer palace. The palace was built facing east so that morning prayers to the sun god could happen, and was built with inspiration from Rajasthani and Mughal traditions. However, the past couple of centuries saw the palace slowly sinking into decay. During the 1960's, the then Maharana, Swaroop Singh tried to do restoration of the palace, and finally decided to convert this into a heritage hotel.
In 1971, the Taj group decided to take over the structure and convert it into a luxury hotel, now offering a total of 83 rooms and suites, with garden view and lake view options. The hotel offers a boat option for guests from a private jetty, located further down from the City Palace. The hotel also offers a chance to book a special dinner boat for an exclusive dinner on the waters of the lake.
If you've been up to your neck in snow drifts trying to get to work, help someone stuck in snow. Had to abandon your car and walk it home. Took in a complete stranger standing at your door, who couldn't get home, and many other things that happen today. Here's to you all.
Still a great country, stay safe everyone.
