Mohandas K. Gandhi is a 1988 bronze sculpture of Mahatma Gandhi sculpted by Zlatko Paunov and Steven Lowe. It is located in the plaza to the northeast of the San Francisco Ferry Building along the Embarcadero in San Francisco, California, United States. The 8-foot (2.4 m) tall sculpture is mounted on a block which bears a plaque, raised on two steps. It was a gift from the Gandhi Memorial International Foundation.
Gandhi is commonly known in India and around the world with the honorific Mahatma Gandhi (Sanskrit: महात्मा mahātmā — "Great Soul") and as Bapu (Gujarati: બાપુ bāpu — "Father"). In India, he is recognised as the Father of the Nation by all Indians and 2 October, his birthday, is commemorated each year on Gandhi Jayanti, a national holiday.
The sculpture is a known target for vandalism; the eyeglasses are the most-stolen item, and the staff has been broken on several occasions.
The photo shows a sculpture of Gandhi without glasses stolen by vandals.

Excerpt from vishnumandir.com/attractions/50-ft-hanuman-ji-idol/:
Canada day celebrations were extended at Vishnu Mandir to Saturday July 2nd, 2016 when 50 ft golden Lord Hanuman idol was unveiled by Morari Bapu, a great Ramayan preacher from India. Over 2500 devotees came from all over Ontario to become part of the historical event for all North American Hindus. Lord Hanuman statue is the tallest in North America. “Lord Hanuman is the symbol of strong Will Power in a man”.
Dr. Doobay explained that how the idea of installing 50 ft Hanuman ji statue came about. Hanuman ji statue was favoured as he represents great qualities. He is the most worshipped deity in India and is great representative of dharma. He teaches us three things:
1) We must serve, which he demonstrated in his service to Lord Rama very well.
2) Constantly sing the glories of God, and
3) Be humble always.
When Lord Rama praised Hanuman after Hanumanji brought back news of Mother Sita, telling Hanumanji that he was indebted to him for his service. Hanumanji felt so embarrassed that he fell on Lord Rama’s feet and cried.
This project costed about C$210,000 which was picked up entirely by one family. A construction company Maturam Art Centre, in India was chosen after much research to execute the project. Mr. Naresh Kumar Verma, head of the company, finalized the concept and position of Lord Hanuman and visited Vishnu Mandir site in 2014. It took about 6 months to build it and was shipped to Canada around March 2015. Naresh Kumar arrived at Vishnu Mandir June 2016 and with the help of local experts, assembled the structure in three weeks.

150th Anniversary of Gandhi Jayanti celebrated at Gandhi Bhawan Bengaluru and the chief Guest at the function was Karnataka Chief Minister, Sri H D Kumaraswamy.
This statue of Gandhi stands by the beach in Pondicherry. It is a beautiful beach with a lovely promenade. Modern street lamps light the walk way. Colonial buildings face the Bay of Bengal, but I loved seeing this statue of Gandhi the most. The children were not shy about their affection for "Papa" either. They loved playing for the camera too.
“The Bapu Bus” - murals commissioned by the Luminaries. The Luminaries are a dynamic group of gifted artists who know that they are here to affect great positive change on this planet through the vehicle of music, conscious hip-hop, and love vibrations… The mural depicts all 8 member of the band, the Awareness Geezers and tons of uplifting messages. I had the best time hanging and eating delicious raw-foods with them while I painted their bio-diesel tour bus at Konscious Studios in Santa Monica, California. They will be hitting loads of festivals across the US this summer so be on the look-out! For more info on the band, please visit the Luminaries website here: www.luminariesmusic.com/

This place is near Bapu’s Agro Tourism Centre, around 35kms from the city of Pune in Maharashtra, India. Surrounded by green mountains and the backwaters of local dams, it is an easy weekend getaway specially during the monsoon for people form Pune and surrounding cities looking for a feel of rural India.
We visit the Bapu’s Agro Tourism Centre, every year, and the visit is always refreshing. The day is spent roaming around in the woods, visiting the farms, walking through the village and doing some agricultural activities first hand.

"The pandit spoke first. "Mr. Patel, Piscine's piety is admirable. In these troubled times it's good to see a boy so keen on God. We all agree on that." The imam and the priest nodded. "But he can't be a Hindu, a Christian and a Muslim. It's impossible. He must choose."
"I don't think it's a crime, but I suppose you're right," Father replied.
The three murmured in agreement and looked heavenward, as did Father, whence they felt the decision must come. Mother looked at me.
A silence fell heavily on my shoulders.
"Hmmm, Piscine?" Mother nudged me. "How do you feel about the question?"
"Bapu Gandhi said, 'All religions are true.' I just want to love God," I blurted out, and looked down, red in the face..."

This is the Sheesh Gumbad shot from the Bara Gumbad in the Lodi Gardens in Delhi.
In this huge park stands a mosque and several tombs of the Pashtun dynasty which ruled Northern India during the 16th century.
The graffiti maker didn't write well, I can't tell if he carved on a pillar of this complex "Bapu" (Hindi word for "father") or "Babu" (maybe his own name) however I am sure that he spoiled this world heritage monument...
