The Lime butterfly is one of the most common and widely distributed swallowtails around the world. It is a frequent mud-puddler and often a number of them can be seen puddling in wet soil and rapidly beating their wings. The butterfly's host plants are mostly citrus species like lime and orange.

The best way to get to Bannerghatta National Park. Volvo route no. 365 from Majestic via Double road, Dairy circle, Jayadeva circle. There are buses every half an hour towards the park.

I went to Butterfly Park, after buying my new lens Canon 55-250mm. This is the place I visited first after buying my DSLR. But with my Canon 18-55mm kit, I was not able to capture all kinds of butterfly. So visited this time with long lens. But this times not much butterflies were there :)
