Otter photographed at British Wildlife Centre, UK. Whilst he is indisputably photogenic, he was a little challenging to capture at first as he was so manic!! He did calm down though..
Doronicum - Leopard's Bane.
This is the same bud I posted unfurling a week ago, now fully open.
It's a bit odd this photo, it appears like a vignette has been put on it but I didn't. I wondered if I was seeing things and asked the boss, but she could see it too. Not sure what caused it, I spot metered but I don't think it was that. Whatever, I quite like it :^)

Thank you for your visit, comments and favours, very much appreciated.
Just a quick experiment based on his New 52/LBM look. I quite like it, even if it's not gonna stick around. I've been sitting on this pic for ages so I just wanted to get it out.

Blauwe kiekendief ♀ - female Hen Harrier (Circus cyaneus).
Only here in winter and then quite hard to find - females even more so. That said, males are easier to spot. (see 2nd comment).
Horrible light alas.
Wespendief ♀ - female Honey buzzard or Pern (Pernis apivorus).
Migratory, here in summer only;
as is obviously their primary food source.
Overwintering in tropical Africa.
Very rare too. In the Netherlands, the breeding population
is estimated at 330-400 breeding pairs.

I decided to leave the garbage as is ... as it shows the contrast of what was and is.
The moral decay in humanity. To defile such a beautiful place with litter and not care for life is what humanity seems to excel in lately. It is what it is, I clean up as much as I can when I walk around lately.
I see a young generation whining over the environment yet they can't clean their litter nor stop consuming. Slaves to desire and a system that does not care for them and most of all to their own lust and ego.
We used to build and work hard... you have a wonderful oppertunity to make life great on this planet I would like to tell this generation. If only you could see what consumption slaves you are and that your freedom lies in the letting go of all this attachment to the commercial bullshit they tell you to care about.
All your ideals are made up by those who wish to control you, only you can set yourself free....
"Weeds are the bane of fields, lust is the bane of mankind. Therefore, what is offered to those free of lust yields abundant fruit" Verse 356 Dhammapada (Buddha)

He will run up to humans, stare at them, and sometimes do a dance. I'd love to know whether he's trying to scare us away, or entertain us.

Cad Bane Bust
@cmaddisoncreations eminent build of a Guardian Naga (a D&D snake, see it on Instagram) have facial features very similar to Cad Bane. When I saw it I knew I had to build Cad somehow. It ended up in a bust, what do you think of it?
Blogged on The Brothers Brick here.
I find no appeal to colorful autumn leaves, but in this case, the bright background seemed flattering to Bane, our male ostrich.
I got to see The Dark Knight Rises for the first time on Tuesday, and this thing was just screaming for me to build it.
Of course so were the other epic vehicles in the movie...
I actually started this the day before I saw TDKR after seeing _Tiler's fantastic micro version, which can be seen here. (You should go give it a look, it's gorgeous.)

I'm rather pleased with my attempt at a minifig scaled version, and I just might be building some camouflage tumbly's to go along with it.
;)
Enjoy!

Ey-a, boss! Where do you want these?

Not my best scene, but I'm on a piece shortage due to that recent Tardis build. I plan on keeping it built for awhile.
Sorry if it's a bit of a let down to those who saw the Tardis. And I believe the decals are by Ryffranck.
Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present to you Arkham City Bane!
First off I want to give a special thanks to Logan Fulford for letting me base mine on his! Thanks man! :) Second I want to apologize for the editing, the two outer picture came out darker than then the middle one for some reason. >:( And I didn't want to take another set of pictures.
Okay, now onto how I made this figure. The base is a Chinese knock-off Hulk figure. I know, I know... please don't kill me. :P I wouldn't normally buy knock-off stuff, but Lego Hulk figures are kinda expensive, and I didn't want to spend that much. I found a lot of four figures, and I made an exception. Anyway, I made his mask, gauntlets, part of the backpack and the things around his arms and legs out of a air drying clay called Miliput. I used various Lego parts on some of the other details, (I tried to sculpt as little as possible). The whole figure is 100% hand painted by yours truly. I'm extremely happy with the way this guy came out, even though somethings could have been better. That's about it. Thanks for looking! :)
I've got Christo's Bane a while back and I guess this is one of those shots I just couldn't miss. Not too happy with the picture though, maybe I'll replace it at some point.
I've made some small improvements on the Tumbler's fins, maybe I'll be back on the subject .
