A rare photo taken from my iPad. I read the morning news with it and Bailey was seeking my attention.

Wanted to share another image from my recent work with our pup Bailey -- I'm sure you're sensing a theme lately. This time it's more of a classic portrait instead of one taken in a creative direction.
I still have one particular shot of her that I'm looking to capture, but haven't just yet... Going to have to work on that one in a subsequent photo shoot. Thankfully Bailey is an easy model to work with... Only need a handful of treats, and she's good to go! ;)

M312 slowly pulls across the Bailey Bridge departing Edmonton Alberta on an unseasonably warm January morning. The warm conditions made the hillside climb a little dicey since there was more ice then snow on the slope!
Bailey Puggins is getting up there in years and can't walk as far as she use to. So a friend of ours was kind enough to donate her old baby stroller. I didn't think she'd like it, but our little Diva loves getting pushed around and sits in there all proud! So now she can keep up with 2 year old Boo Lefou walking half the way and strolling along like a Queen for the rest!
Have a great week Flickr friends. Tina & the Puglets xo
I would like to thank all of you that have taken the time to view and comment on my photos, it is very much appreciated.
Situated at the Northern side of Dublin port this was often the last sight people had as they took the boat from Dublin to the new world as it was often called. Liverpool, Holyheadand further afield in last centuary.
The lighthouse was completed in March 1841 and stands 141 feet above sea level.
The bailey was the last Irish lighthouse to be manned and the last keeper left in 1997.
I cleaned out the fridge yesterday. Threw out all the "bad" indulgences from the holidays and replaced them with "good" food. Couldn't get rid of these "minis" though! How cute are they?

Trying out the super takumar 55mm lens, loving it, lots of flare and bokeh.

Wanted to share another portrait of our lab Bailey. This one was actually captured a while back, but it's always been one of my favorites of her. I decided to completely rework the processing on this shot, as I wanted to come up w/ a more painterly version for the image.

and uploaded.
Thereotical Suicide is good band name right?
Anyways, I'm really pissed because I have a corrupted peggy file in my game somewhere
And I may have to reinstall it again
which means
no Papercut
for another
few months
and I lose all my stuff
which sucks
really really badly
Bailey lives with his gorgeous twin Baxter, and an older ginger named Paws, in Sunrise on Sea, South Africa. Despite the triple threat the local bird population thrives. Yesterday I saw a huge flock of sparrows on Bailey's wall. Risky business!
Obviously no kid should be riding the family dog, unless the dog is strong enough and desperately asked his little master for that. Aaaaand this is my lovely Bailey - very strong and brave dog who always enjoys our time together.
This picture is dedicated to my friend Jaqui who has bought Bailey for my RL birthday. (thank you Jaqui)

With the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024, I thought I'd go back and post another photo from the previous August 21, 2017, solar eclipse. In this photo, you can see the phenomenon called Bailey's Beads. This happens when the last little bits of the sun's light right before totality shine through the valleys of lunar craters and mountains on the surface of the moon. This only lasts a mere matter of seconds, so to the be able to capture it all is extremely lucky. But, as you can see, I cut off part of the sun and the moon. This is because they move so fast across the frame of your camera when using long telephoto lenses that it can be hard to keep up. In the excitement of nearing totality, I neglected to keep my sun centered in frame.
"Dots"
This image is being submitted as part of the #Flickr21 Photo Challenge, celebrating Flickr's 21st anniversary on February 10, 2025. The theme for the 2nd day of the 21 day photo challenge is "Dots." Of all the images I currently have up on Flickr, it came down to 3 possible ways to demonstrate this theme: Snow, Stars, and this, Bailey's Beads. While not the greatest image in the world (I mean, I did cut off the sun), capturing Bailey's Beads is rare and extremely difficult, considering the opportunity to catch them lasts mere seconds during each total solar eclipse. I failed to catch Bailey's Beads upon the end of totality during this eclipse, and I don't think I captured them during the 2024 solar eclipse (as of this writing of an added note, I still have yet to really look at my 2024 eclipse photos because I am still disappointed in how that unfolded. More on that whenever I eventually get around to uploading those photos to Flickr.)
