I took this a few years ago but just stumbled upon it. I'm not sure why I was here at sunset, but it looks pretty nice.
Despite being completed in 1953, the Wilmette House of Worship is the largest and the oldest surviving Bahá'í House of Worship in the world. It is located near the shore of Lake Michigan in Wilmette, IL. The grounds are quite beautiful too, but not in November 2013, so I cropped them out.
Hello everybody!! after some days of absent here i'm again !! I missed you all you and your wonderful images!!!

Bahai garden-Haifa Israel
This is a little part of the splendid Bahai garden in Haifa. a hillgarden which composed by 19 terraces and more than 1500 steps...A real paradise for the photographer!
Unfortunately i haven't seen all the terraces and lot of the photos are not very good because of the position of the sun exactly behind this beauty! I'm sure to visite this garden next time...

Opened in Ingleside in 1961, it is a prominent landmark high above Sydney’s northern beaches. The native gardens and natural bushland surrounding the Temple provide a tranquil environment for individual prayer, meditation, contemplation and reflection.
Baha’i Temples have nine sides symbolising unity, and a central dome. There are eight continental Baha’i Temples around the world.
The Bahai are a curious religion. They are a monotheistic religion, have no priests, believe in repeated revelations with the one of their founder Baha*Ullah being the last one so far, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed being others. They believe in uniting all religions and humanity peacefully but don't try to convert others. If more religions were like this, this world would be far more peaceful.
Unluckily, they are not very successful in terms of membership. The temple in Langenhain close to Frankfurt is the single house of worship in the whole of Europe. There are about two handful of them worldwide.
