this was at the top of a Buffalo jump. six of my friends and I climbed it at 4:45 in the morning and it was freezing cold and it was super hard to breathe cause of the altitude but it was SO EXHILARATING. I miss it.

taken with my celly today while stuck in some serious Christmas shopping traffic ! Doh ! ;)

This morning while my son and I were walking our dog we took a detour along a pathway which leads to this little fishing hole. The water was very still, perfect for capturing the reflection of the trees, sky and even the small patch of clouds. I like how this turned out; not bad for an iPhone photo. :) At one point when we reached the edge of the water something splashed and disappeared. We think it was a turtle. It scared the crap out of both of us. My boy is jumpy like his mom. Haha!

Our dishwasher hasn't been working for the last couple of days so a repairman came this afternoon and determined that the motor is blown on it. It isn't even a year old yet. Luckily the repair falls under the manufacturers warranty. We did buy an extended warranty for it because everything seems to be junk anymore - heck, even the repair guy said that people should buy the extended warranties because they just don't make items like they used to. Very true! Unfortunately, I will have dish pan hands for another week because of the long weekend and his schedule and my work schedule.

After repairman buddy left, my daughter and I made plans to go to Crock A Doodle, a pottery painting studio. It was fun but much harder than it looks. I am not very artistic so what vision I had of what my finished pottery would look like was nothing what it turned out to be. Bahahaha! There will NOT be any photos of it today or when I pick it up next week. I ended up painting a platter. My daughter chose to paint a mug which turned out really well. :) We had fun together and that's what counts the most. We like to do new things like that.

Sorry I wasn't around last night. I ended up back at the Drs office with my daughter who seems to always get sick right before any holiday. She's got strep throat yet again and between her and her brother this is the 4th time it's hit my house in the last couple of months.. Errrr and if my son gets again before February he has to have his tonsils removed so as you can imagine he is a bit frightened right now and is using lysol on everything like it's going out of style !! 1. Ok like you didn't know this one already but I am completely addicted to PINK... If something’s pink I will see it... The color calls to meeeee... Not sure when my PINK addiction started but it's pretty much out of control now...!!!!

2. I started flickr on Aug 29, 2006....It's all been downhill since then....can someone say....ADDICTION ISSUES !!

3. I have two beautiful children that I absolutely adore.. My son D.J. is 16 and my daughter Sissy is 13 (these are their nicknames I don't like to share their real names for privacy).

4. I am a HUGE...I mean HUGE germaphobic.. I will go to extremes to keep your cooties off my person.. Can't touch a door handle without a towel..!! Can't touch the buttons in an elevator or the rails on an escalator.....and Walmart has the most germs....the second I enter that store I get queasy and can't get out fast enough!! Just say'n !! bahahaha

5. Can't stand shopping....this annoys most all my friends.. my motto..."buy it online" less germs to deal with when you shop online !! bahahaha

6. Hate crowds.. Makes me very uneasy and I get all nervous and sweaty...

7. Hate small places....buses and planes are awful and I have to be drugged in order to ride in one..

8. I get nervous meeting new people.. I will almost always break a sweat unless liquored up !! bahahaha

9. I love music.. I listen to my ipod for hours on end and I'm pretty sure I've damaged my hearing because the louder the music the better !!

10. I loveeeeeee coffee....I'm breaking the starbucks habit for the second time this year because I got a coffee maker for Christmas.. lets see how long I make it this time !! baha

11. I love the ocean.. Bodega Bay California is my favorite place because of so many special memories I have with my family there. My fathers ashes were spread there when he passed away....as will mine be one day.

12. Before my father died he asked me to think of a word so that when I heard it I would know he was thinking and watching over me. I chose a number instead 222 (a combo found in my birthday) and I see that number all the time and in places you'd never imagine and alot times I see it when I need to know that he is there..

13. I love butterflies.. I believe they carry the souls of those who have passed on and in some of my weakest and darkest moments a butterfly has appeared to help me through..

14. I have one tattoo.. It's of a butterfly and it is located on the inside of my right ankle.

15. I don't normally like to read books but my daughter recently got me hooked on the Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga and I am soooo in love with Edward....Vampires rule Werewolves drool ! Just say'n ! hahahaha

I have always wanted to do a Tron themed shot for a while but never knew what to do, but gave in today and just gave it a go. I didn't have access to put a bike in the studio so i just had to lie a mattress on its side and use it that way to suspend me correctly into the right position. Worked quite well but i cheated a lot for this one as i'm not feeling well and didn't want to spend too long on it. Looks better as a thumbnail as it's not great quality but whats done is done.

Im off to medicate myself now with as much as possible. See you guys later...
