I wasn't in a good spot the other evening for what shaped up to be a pretty nice sunset. Luckily, I had a second opportunity to catch some good light last night. The sunset over the city wasn't anything unreal, but it did provide some nice light on the buildings with some soft pastels in the sky. And as usual, the best of the light was behind me; shining over the Olympics. One of these nights I will get it right.

This is a cheap and easily made PVC frame for adding backdrops to smaller items that I want to photograph.
Working with my new Canon 5d (used but new to me). I shot this model with my new (and purchased new) DS Arms SA58 carbine.
It was my first experiment with Alien Bees ABR800 and a backdrop.
VWS0201 Copyright © VW Selburn 2019: The backdrop to our hotel in Uttenheim, near Gais, SudTyrol, Italy. That is our Leger coach next to the hotel. Leger coaches have a lounge at the back. Coffee and other drinks, including alcohol, are served up periodically en-route. There are two drivers and when they are not driving, they are ensuring the passengers are well catered for.
