Shot at Backdrop Cove on Minimal's Lisbon Tram backdrop. When I saw this backdrop, I wanted to make a pose hanging off the handrail.
I often look for pictures online as models to make poses. I ran across a still of Gene Kelly hanging from a lamp post in Singing in the Rain and thought I would combine the ideas.

Es viernes y el cuerpo lo sabe, cenas , fiestas y descontrol. Me he afilado bien las uñas para ver que es lo que puedo arañar esta noche. Como me voy de fiesta os mando una foto de lo bien que me sienta el animalprint y de paso os saluda Rocky que está contentísimo de salir a la calle a perseguir a todas las perras que vea. A mi también me gustan las perras no os lo voy a negar pero yo no las persigo, son ellas las que vienen a mí a cuatro patas. Bueno, bueno eso es otro tema, que me desvío. Having been up late the night before for sunset, we didn't get an awful lot of sleep, three hours in fact, before rising to make the short journey along the road to Luskentyre Beach.
What a truly stunning location this is, miles and miles of crystal clear water and unspoilt silvery white sand, with a backdrop of mountainous mist covered ridges.
To say I was like a child in a sweetie shop, would be an understatement. It took me a fair while before deciding on a LE, as I was unsure if any colour would actually come.
As it turned out I was treated to some beautiful turquoise tones and some lovely light, just breaking the cloud formation.
I could have spent the whole day here but I could see Ken was a little weary, partly through lack of sleep and also carrying my heavier gear bless him.
It's one I can now cross off the bucket list. Not sure I've done it the justice it deserves but a rather peaceful, dreamy image.

Some extra details on my blog.
Six stamen are featured here, emerging from the lily's center and backdropped by the glorious petals.
Stamens consist of their long stems called filaments, and then end in the dark anthers which are covered in yellow pollen.
This immersive image was yesterday's post without the white frame and also cropped horizontally...
I admit it. I am in love with the beauty and design of flowers that macro lenses allow us to experience. I see God's handiwork in nature and I am moved.

I found this lone Common Loon hanging around in a local pond for few weeks. I was lucky to have some taking off shots before it left the area. This shot was taken after sunset. The light was dim. In order to freeze the action, I had to use quite high shutter speed. Meanwhile, I need to use the ISO within an acceptable range to keep the noise low. The image turned out to be okay considering the ISO is around 4000. I don't normally use that high ISO for my photos, but I like that the water was calm and colorful after sunset. And it's not common to see the Common Loon taking off against the golden color backdrop.
